Console Connect & Zenlayer expand global reach via APIs

Console Connect and Zenlayer have announced a strategic collaboration that aims to extend the reach of their global ecosystems through bilateral APIs.

The partnership combines Console Connect's carrier-grade network with Zenlayer's capabilities in edge computing and low-latency networking, offering customers an integrated connectivity solution. This collaboration will enable Console Connect to expand its presence in high-growth markets such as Southeast Asia and South America, offering its users enhanced global connectivity options.

Zenlayer customers stand to gain access to an expanded network of cloud and data centre locations in key developed markets. This expansion offers greater flexibility and choice in hybrid and multi-cloud networking while ensuring performance, reliability, and security for critical workloads.

Integrating APIs between the two companies will allow customers to use agile on-demand private connectivity. This system can be dynamically adjusted to meet business needs, ensuring cost efficiency by allowing customers to pay only for the bandwidth they use.

Zenlayer's participation as one of the launch partners of the new Console Connect Marketplace further strengthens the collaboration. This marketplace allows users to order and provision Zenlayer compute services, such as Bare Metal and Virtual Machines (VM), through the Console Connect platform. The marketplace also includes complementary IT and connectivity solutions from over 50 leading providers.

Additionally, the joint solution promises to expand Zenlayer's cloud ecosystem to more key locations across Africa, Europe, and North America. It will also enable Zenlayer's customers to access on-demand connectivity services provided by Console Connect, including Layer 2 and Internet On-Demand.
