Vertiv has opened the Vertiv Experience Centre Singapore, a facility for customers and partners working on AI and high-density computing infrastructure.

The new centre gives visitors hands-on access to the company's integrated power, liquid cooling and infrastructure systems. It is designed for customers, channel partners, consultants and other industry stakeholders.

The facility features live demonstrations of intelligent modular data centre infrastructure, thermal management equipment, power management systems and monitoring tools. It shows how those technologies work together in environments built for AI and dense computing workloads.

Featured systems include Vertiv SmartRun, a prefabricated overhead infrastructure product that combines power distribution, liquid cooling piping, networking and busway in a single platform. The site also includes Vertiv SmartAisle 3, described by the company as its latest generation of modular data centre infrastructure.

Other technologies on show include liquid cooling systems for direct-to-chip and other high-density cooling applications, as well as critical power systems, switchgear and power distribution equipment. Visitors can also see infrastructure management and monitoring systems designed to give operators greater visibility over site conditions and operations.

Singapore is one of Asia's main digital infrastructure hubs, and the opening comes as AI workloads increase pressure on data centre operators to manage rising power density and cooling demand. Across the sector, suppliers have been expanding their offerings in liquid cooling, power management and integrated infrastructure as operators adapt facilities for more intensive computing loads.

Antony Szafranek, Senior Director for Strategic Accounts, Vertiv Asia, said the new centre reflects changing customer requirements across the region. "Organisations across Asia are scaling their digital infrastructure to support AI innovation, creating new demands for reliability, efficiency and speed of deployment," Szafranek said.

He added: "The Experience Centre gives customers and partners a hands-on environment to explore how integrated power and cooling technologies can support higher-density computing while maintaining operational resilience."

AI infrastructure

The centre is intended to illustrate an end-to-end approach to AI infrastructure spanning power, cooling and IT systems. That focus mirrors a broader industry push to link electrical, thermal and computing design more closely as AI servers consume more energy and generate more heat than conventional enterprise systems.

Daniel Sim, Senior Director for AI Ecosystem Alliances and Channel Partners, Vertiv Asia, said customers need to assess how those elements work together rather than in isolation. "The pace of AI-driven transformation requires greater integration of power, cooling and IT infrastructure," Sim said.

He added: "At the Experience Centre, customers can see how these technologies work together to address the infrastructure requirements of AI and high-density computing."

Vertiv, which is listed in New York, sells power, cooling and IT infrastructure products for data centres, communications networks and industrial facilities. It says it operates in more than 130 countries.
