Under the theme "Unleashing Indonesia's AI Sovereignty," the event will gather key players in artificial intelligence to examine its potential impact on Indonesia's economy and international stature. Indosat seeks to foster a collaborative environment for both local and international thought leaders, positioning the country at the forefront of the global AI landscape.

Vikram Sinha, President Director and Chief Executive Officer of Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, stated, "Our purpose is clear: empowering Indonesia through digital and technological advancement. Leading in AI isn't just about adopting new technologies; it's about shaping Indonesia's future on its terms. We're thrilled to partner with like-minded innovators who recognise this potential and support our mission to cultivate an AI ecosystem that truly belongs to Indonesia. Indonesia AI Day marks an essential milestone, opening pathways to unlock infinite opportunities and elevate our nation's standing in the AI sphere."

The event will feature distinguished speakers including Jensen Huang, Founder and CEO of NVIDIA, and Julie Sweet, Chair and CEO of Accenture, who will discuss Indonesia's path to AI Sovereignty and the expansive prospects AI offers for the nation's digital economy.

Indonesian officials such as Meutya Hafid, Minister of Communications and Digital, Erick Thohir, Minister of State-owned Enterprises, and Stella Christie, Vice Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, will provide insights into AI's potential to drive digital independence and economic resilience in Indonesia.

The event will also host a startup pitch battle focusing on innovative AI solutions designed to tackle national challenges and promote sustainable development. It will include masterclasses and workshops aimed at expanding knowledge of AI applications across various sectors including human capital, enterprise, and the creative industries.

An ecosystem showcase will highlight AI's transformative potential in enhancing both personal and professional spheres, reflecting Indonesia's commitment to AI Sovereignty and its aspirations to be a major player in the global digital economy.

Indonesia AI Day serves as a platform for enhancing AI awareness, knowledge exchange, and cooperation, aligning with Indosat's aim to become an AI-driven technology company while reinforcing Indonesia's standing as a leading digital economy in Southeast Asia.
