Imply, the company established by the original creators of Apache Druid, has officially announced the appointment of Pranav Parekh as its new Chief Customer Officer. Parekh is bringing with him a wealth of expertise spanning over 25 years in product management, software development, consulting, sales engineering and customer success.
Parekh's role is strategically designed to heighten the customer experience and further improve Imply's commitment towards delivering outstanding value to its customers. He will primarily be in charge of sales engineering, solution architects, customer success and support at Imply. In his key role as Chief Customer Officer, Parekh will be responsible for remoulding the customer journey, optimising product and service offerings, and cultivating lasting relationships with Imply’s valued clients. Prior to his new role at Imply, Parekh has led the global field engineering team at DataStax. His notable career spans across well-established companies such as Google, Oracle, BEA Systems, Apigee, and Akana. Among these, he played a pivotal role in the go-to-market leadership team during Apigee's successful public launch in 2015 and its subsequent acquirement by Google in 2016.
