ExtraHop appoints Sylvia Go as APJ Channel Director
ExtraHop, the leader in cloud-native network intelligence, announces the appointment of Sylvia Go as Assistant Vice President, Channel, Asia Pacific and Japan, with the goal of "help[ing] further enable channel partners to profitably deliver ExtraHop best-of-breed security and IT performance solutions and services to enterprise customers throughout the region." Go brings to the table more than 10 years of sales and channel experience, having held channel manager positions at both Tufin and Check Point Software.
Based in Singapore, Go will be responsible for accelerating the company's underlying channel sales strategy in APJ, working closely with cross-functional teams and developing innovative programs to drive growth. Prior to joining ExtraHop, Go was awarded the Tufin President's Club Award in 2022 and the Best CAM Award by Check Point Software Singapore in 2020.
Kenneth Chen, Vice President Asia Pacific and Japan, ExtraHop, says, "The consumption of network detection and response (NDR) solutions across both enterprise and public sectors has increased substantially in recent years. As we forge ahead to meet our next phase of investment and growth, it is paramount we reinforce our commitment by deepening synergy with our existing channel and partner ecosystem. Sylvia Go comes with a track record of building strategic channel development across this diverse region. I am thrilled to have her join the APJ leadership team to develop and harness our channel-first strategy."
Go herself is excited about coming to ExtraHop at this time, when "key partners in the region look to incorporate solutions that provide greater visibility into what is going on in the network." ExtraHop's Reveal(x) 360 is a "dynamic cyber defense platform" that applies "cloud-scale AI to petabytes of traffic per day." With complete visibility, enterprises can "detect malicious behavior, hunt advanced threats, and forensically investigate any incident with confidence."
The ExtraHop Panorama Partner Program, launched in 2021, offers a range of features aimed at increasing customer engagement, including a specialisation program, deal registration, quote assistance and joint marketing funds. The Program encourages partners to deepen their product knowledge and bring ExtraHop's services to a wider audience, and ExtraHop acknowledges that the Program is "approximately half-way through [its] evolution."
The appointment of Sylvia Go promises a boost for ExtraHop's already successful channel strategy, signifying the company's commitment to growth in the APJ region.
