CYREBRO partners with Google Cloud for precision threat detection
Thu, 4th Apr 2024

CYREBRO, a Tel Aviv-based Managed Detection and Response (MDR) solution has announced its collaboration with Google Cloud. The partnership is intended to create a precision-guided detection engine that streamlines the identification of security threats. This initiative leverages Google Cloud's extensive machine learning capabilities to provide an optimised security service for CYREBRO's customers and partners.

The collaboration involves the creation of a precision-guided security data lake and detection engine. Its design is aimed at providing users with high-quality threat insights and speedy response capabilities. Google Cloud's big data and machine learning capabilities play a significant role in this innovation, allowing for a quicker detection process and a reduction in false-positive and false-negative rates. The continued use of machine learning algorithms enhances the focus on the most prevalent security threats, thus reducing the mean time to respond (MTTR) and minimises business risk.

Key advantages of the partnership include a quick time-to-value (TTV) of just a few hours, meaning clients can connect systems to CYREBRO swiftly. The collaboration improves data localisation globally to support ever-evolving client regulatory requirements and allows direct querying of log sources within milliseconds. Looking forward, CYREBRO users will have the option to generate customised reports based on their needs or utilise log likelihood methods (LLM) to carry out complex queries directly on the platform.

On the collaboration, CYREBRO's Co-founder and CEO Nadav Arbel said, "CYREBRO's collaboration with Google Cloud has brought a new level of performance to our MDR solution, delivering high-precision detection and response. With our enhanced machine learning capabilities, CYREBRO users and channel partners can benefit from a robust infrastructure that will evolve to continuously serve their needs in the future."

Google Cloud's Customer Engineer Manager, Amit Einav, expressed the company’s vision of transforming the cybersecurity landscape through the application of advanced cloud technology and big data solution. "This collaboration", he said, "is a testament to the synergy between cloud computing and advanced machine learning, enabling CYREBRO to offer unparalleled threat detection and response capabilities to ensure businesses are protected with the most sophisticated tools available."

CYREBRO couples advanced technology with an expert team, offering strategic monitoring, detection optimisation, threat research, and intelligence. Despite being a young company, CYREBRO doubled its client base year-on-year in 2023, serving hundreds of clients and dozens of channel partners across North America, EMEA, Latin America, and APAC.
