Mon, 29th Apr 2024

In a significant move aimed at boosting digital transformation and reimagining operational workflows, renowned data solution provider, InterSystems, has partnered with Imagelink Software, a prominent provider of enterprise content management solutions in Malaysia.

Imagelink's new document management solution will help Malaysian organisations overcome the hurdles of digitisation, document management, and workflow automation. This empowering solution offers both government agencies and businesses the opportunity to revolutionise their work processes, enhancing their product and service offerings to customers. Imagelink's clientele includes prominent entities such as Lembaga Hasil Dalam Negeri Malaysia, Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia, Pertubuhan Keselamatan Sosial, Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan Malaysia, Polis Diraja Malaysia and Columbia Asia Hospitals.

This new collaborative effort comes following Malaysia's government highlighting the urgent need for improving the quality of public data and public services. Now, with the latest document management solution, organisations can safely and efficiently store and process multiple data types, orchestrate workflows, identify process gaps, and utilise third-party AI and machine learning effectively.

The solution, built on the InterSystems IRIS data platform, not only accelerates integration efforts but enables Imagelink to readily implement new cutting-edge capabilities, such as quantum-proofing technologies. Core features of InterSystems IRIS comprise a high-performance multi-model database that offers multidimensional data and document storage; a workflow engine and low code graphical orchestration capabilities for smooth workflow automation; and interactive business intelligence dashboards for analysis and insights.

Moreover, it allows the effortless integration of AI and machine learning to facilitate real-time insights and decision-making. The newly integrated Signature Pre-Image Proof (SPP) technology in Imagelink's document management solution assists organisations in quantum-proofing their digital documents and content, enhancing their authenticity and verification processes.

Imagelink Software's CEO and Founder, Gwee Chee Seng, expressed his views on the collaboration: "Whether you are a government agency striving to improve public service delivery or an enterprise seeking to improve business outcomes, digitisation and having a well-designed workflow process enables your organisation to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Our collaboration with InterSystems represents a step forward in redefining how businesses in Malaysia manage their documents and workflows. The integration of Imagelink's expertise with the high-performance data management and interoperability capabilities of InterSystems IRIS will empower organisations to achieve unprecedented efficiency and operational excellence."

Additionally, Kenneth Kuek, Country Lead, Data Platforms at InterSystems, expressed his excitement regarding the partnership: "Malaysia's digital economy is growing rapidly, spurred by technopreneurs challenging the norm. Software developers, solution providers, and implementation partners bring fresh ideas to help organisations reshape their workflows for better business performance and public service delivery. We're thrilled to play our part in helping turn their vision into reality - with the InterSystems IRIS data platform forming the bedrock of their document management solution, Imagelink can readily connect data and application silos, and build a feature-rich, high-performance solution tailored to customers' needs."

InterSystems IRIS supports integration with a wide range of open standards and protocols, such as SQL, REST, SOAP, HL7, FHIR, and others. Thus, developers can build compliant applications on top of InterSystems IRIS, promoting better interoperability with other systems and technologies.
