BP executive Camille Drummond joins BlackLine's board of directors

Camille Drummond, the current Senior Vice President of Global Business Services at BP and a veteran in the oil, gas, and energy sector with over three decades of experience, has joined the board of directors at BlackLine - the leader in digital finance transformation.

Drummond, who has repeatedly made it to the UK's 'Powerlist' of the 100 most influential black leaders in the past five years, is recognised for her outstanding service at BP and her contributions to promoting diversity and inclusion inside and outside of organisations.

The announcement from BlackLine on March 18, 2024, marks Drummond's official joining of the board on March 15, 2024. In her new role, Drummond will apply her significant expertise gained from leading finance and global business process services at BP, a global leader in oil, gas, and energy, to support BlackLine's ongoing growth and market leadership while enhancing its position within the Office of the CFO.

Drummond's current role at BP involves managing global business services, including finance, procurement, customer, and HR. She has held various senior positions at BP, including CFO of Gas Trading Europe.

Responding to her appointment, Drummond said: "Having managed critical business services on a global scale for many years, I am well-versed in the importance of modernising business processes, including the finance function, and also understand the challenges BlackLine and its customers may be facing. Camille Drummond is a passionate advocate for diversity and inclusion and has been acknowledged for her contributions in this domain. Her sterling career at BP and her efforts in promoting inclusive practices across organisations have fetched her a place in the UK's 'Powerlist' of the 100 most influential black leaders for five years in a row. Drummond holds an MBA from the Henley Business School.
