Ajay Garg joins Saviynt as Chief Development Officer

Ajay Garg has been appointed as the Chief Development Officer at identity governance solutions provider, Saviynt.

Garg, who joins Saviynt from Palo Alto Networks, brings with him considerable experience in engineering leadership within the cybersecurity sector. At Palo Alto Networks, he served as Vice President of Engineering and was responsible for leading a global team in the development of AI-oriented advanced security solutions covering Data Security, SaaS Security, WildFire, and Internet Security.

As Chief Development Officer at Saviynt, Garg will be tasked with overseeing all aspects of engineering, including Quality Engineering, Infrastructure, and Site Reliability Engineering, known as SRE. His new role involves steering the growth and continued development of Saviynt's identity security platform.

Garg's extensive experience includes his previous tenure at CyberCube Analytics, where he was Global Vice President of Engineering. In this role, he managed the development of CyberCube's Cyber Risk Analytics platform. Prior to that, he held significant leadership positions at FireEye and Cisco Systems, where he was influential in driving innovation across important areas such as cloud security, identity management, threat analytics, secure access, and content security.
