Zyxel launches four new WiFi 7 access points for SMBs

Today

Zyxel Networks has announced the launch of four new WiFi 7 access points designed to enhance the performance of small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

The new access points, named NWA110BE, NWA210BE, WBE510D, and WBE630S, deliver speeds ranging from 6500 Mbps to 12300 Mbps. These additions to Zyxel's product line now offer the most comprehensive WiFi 7 solutions available, catering to businesses of various sizes and scenarios.

Antenna design is crucial in WiFi performance, influencing signal strength, coverage, and reliability. The newly launched WiFi 7 access points feature three different antenna designs engineered for various network environments and applications. This enables a more tailored experience, improving speed, range, and stability across diverse network conditions.

The NWA110BE and NWA210BE are equipped with internal antennas suitable for ceiling-mount installations and general-purpose environments. In contrast, the WBE510D features dual-optimised antennas designed for both ceiling-mount and wall-mount scenarios, allowing network administrators to adjust the radio pattern as needed. The WBE630S, designed for challenging and crowded environments, includes smart antennas that self-adjust to mitigate interference.

All models have been developed to deliver optimal performance, using Zyxel's RF First design to minimise interference from nearby channels and mobile networks. This design approach enhances signal strength and ensures more reliable connectivity even in diverse environments.

The new access points also support tri-band configurations and Zyxel's BandFlex design, which lets users choose between 5GHz and 6GHz bands. The enhanced 2x2+4x4 antenna setup offers an extended WiFi range and superior performance compared to typical dual-radio WiFi 7 access points.

Integration with Zyxel's Nebula cloud platform equips these devices with AI-powered management features for streamlined configuration, diagnostics, and troubleshooting. The Connect & Protect Plus service embedded within Nebula enhances network security against threats like malware and phishing without changing the network infrastructure.

Mr Gary Chen, ANZ regional head at Zyxel Networks, said, "We are seeing real momentum among businesses to adopt WiFi 7 devices, but often the underlying network capabilities are not able to deliver the expected user experience. As businesses invest in WiFi 7, many face challenges with existing network infrastructure, which struggles to support the high demands of these devices. To help address this, we are adding four new WiFi 7 access points to our product range, enabling SMBs to adopt these technologies smoothly. This will help drive the continued penetration of WiFi 7 worldwide."

The new WiFi 7 access points offer dual power options, including PoE+ and USB Type-C charging, utilising existing charging hardware to support user preferences and sustainability efforts.
