The Company We Keep expands South-East Asia Team with three new hires
The award-winning independent full sensory experience agency, The Company We Keep (The CWK), has announced the expansion of its South-East Asia (SEA) team. The enhancement includes the addition of three new hires; a Project Director and two Project Managers, based in their recently opened Singapore hub.
The newly appointed Project Director, Tam Xu, will take the reins in the delivery of bespoke projects for clients across SEA. In addition to leading the work, Xu will be nurturing and training the team of producers for the Singapore Hub, creating a robust production department.
Xu is not new to performing varied roles and boasts considerable skills. Formerly at MOI Global, Xu was instrumental in setting up the Events and Project Management teams from scratch. Leading a growing team as an Event Director, she progressively managed end-to-end event planning and execution, and built strong client relationships, collaborating with renowned companies such as Fujifilm, Google Cloud, Oracle, Red Hat, and UBS.
In an enthusiastic reflection of her appointment as Project Director, Tam Xu states: "The CWK has an envious reputation and I'm thrilled to be part of the SEA team during an exciting growth phase. Together with Victor, I look forward to scaling new heights, building a team and achieving new milestones for The CWK's Singapore Hub."
In her new position, Xu is responsible for the everyday management of projects across several departments, ensuring operational and financial discipline, delivery excellence, and resource optimisation.
Complementing Xu's appointment, Nicole Pow and Deon Tan will also assume Project Management roles within the Singapore Hub, where they will oversee The CWK projects. Besides her technical prowess, Pow will utilise her diverse skills in events management developed over eight years. Tan, who brings ten years of experience across events, sales, and marketing, will assume a social and creative heavy role.
Victor Darmawan, Business Director Asia, The CWK, conveyed his enthusiasm regarding the appointments: "I am incredibly excited about Tam, Nicole, and Deon joining the company, and I look forward to working closely with them to elevate Singapore as the next Hub for The CWK. Together, we will continue to provide world-class service to our clients, fostering growth and success."
Adding further context, Nigel Ruffell, CEO, The CWK, says: "The addition of Tam, Nicole, and Deon to our growing team is a testament to The Company We Keep's remarkable success in the SEA region. Each of them brings a wealth of invaluable experience that will undoubtedly enhance our capabilities across APAC. With our expanding team and reinforced presence, we're embarking on an exciting journey filled with limitless opportunities, and we eagerly anticipate the amazing work they will do."
Since its launch earlier this year, The CWK Singapore Hub has already begun working with clients such as Credit Suisse and WalkMe, in addition to project work with foundation clients Salesforce, and Docusign. The agency specialises in creating experiences that uniquely target the senses, delivering strong, long-lasting emotional connections between audiences and brands.
