Tue, 30th Jul 2024

Snom Technology has announced a new distribution partnership with Cal4Care Group, extending its presence in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand. This collaboration is part of Snom Technology's strategy to expand the sales of its VoIP telephones within the Asia-Pacific region.

The Asia-Pacific VoIP market holds significant potential for growth, having captured over 23% of the global market share in 2023, according to Cognitive Market Research. The market is projected to maintain a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12% through 2030 due to the rising demand for cloud-based telephony solutions.

VTech, the parent company of Snom Technology, sees substantial opportunities stemming from advancements in telecommunications infrastructure within China, Japan, South Korea, India, and Australia. These developments are paving the way for stronger and more scalable communication networks, boosting the business VoIP market across the region.

Anamul Haque, who oversees Channel Management in the Middle East, South- and Southeast Asia for Snom Technology, emphasised the importance of this partnership. "We are excited to announce this strategic collaboration with Cal4Care, which we believe will help us significantly expand our footprint in key Asian markets," said Haque.

The partnership aims to address the growing needs for high-quality IP telephony products within various sectors. The newly announced Snom SP800 is designed to meet the requirements of organisations with high security needs, such as call centres, banks, insurance firms, and public sector entities. These entities require secure, high-quality communication tools accessible from remote locations through terminal servers or soft clients.

Fabio Albanini, Head of Sales for EMEA & APAC at Snom Technology, expressed optimism about the partnership. "We are delighted to welcome Cal4Care as our new distributor in these main regions. Their extensive network and proven expertise align perfectly with our product portfolio. We are confident that this partnership will enhance our market reach and drive mutual success."

Cal4Care Group, founded in 2006, aims to offer end-to-end IT infrastructure solutions tailored to each business's specific needs. CEO Mani Chockalingam also shared his enthusiasm for the new partnership. "We are thrilled to partner with Snom Technology. Their innovative products and commitment to quality make them a perfect addition to our portfolio. We look forward to a successful collaboration that will bring substantial benefits to our customers and both our companies."

This new distribution agreement is expected to facilitate Snom Technology's mission of delivering innovative IP telephony solutions to a broader market. By leveraging Cal4Care's strong market presence and expertise, Snom hopes to penetrate new segments and cater to the increasing demand for modern telecommunications solutions in Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand.

The partnership also provides Cal4Care with the direct support of Anamul Haque, who will manage the relationship and support project development and partner recruitment efforts. This collaboration is seen as a crucial step for both companies as they seek to strengthen their market positions and offer enhanced services to their clients in the region.
