Semperis appoints Nico Devoti to lead global tech partnerships
Semperis today announced the appointment of Nico Devoti to oversee its Global Technology Partner Program. Devoti brings extensive experience from his 14-year tenure at Trellix, where he led the Security Innovation Alliance Partner Program.
During his time at Trellix, Devoti successfully recruited more than 250 partners into the company's ecosystem, significantly contributing to its global expansion.
Nico Devoti will be responsible for the growth of Semperis's Technology Alliance Program (TAP). This program integrates Semperis's cyber resiliency platform with complementary technologies from leading vendors such as Microsoft, IBM, Dell, Trellix, Veritas, and Splunk. The goal is to offer enhanced protection for identity systems before, during, and after cyberattacks.
On May 6, Semperis disclosed a partnership with Trellix. This collaboration aims to enhance visibility into identity system breaches by utilizing Trellix's extended detection and response (XDR) capabilities, which accelerate the detection and containment of identity-based attacks. Trellix's XDR platform is currently employed by 40,000 organisations globally, including 80 percent of the Fortune 100.
Mickey Bresman, CEO of Semperis, commented on Devoti's appointment: "Nico brings a wealth of direct experience to Semperis as he spearheaded the expansion of Trellix's global technology partner program for more than a decade and built a reliable and sustainable revenue pipeline with the world's leading technology companies."
"Semperis's rapid global growth is due to organisations finding their identity systems regularly compromised and looking to dramatically improve their operational resilience, knowing that constant disruptions impact their bottom line and will erode confidence of employees, partners, and customers," he added.
During his tenure at Trellix, Devoti was instrumental in developing and driving business initiatives. He created and implemented the company's co-sell revenue-generating model, which resulted in a global partner co-sales pipeline growing from zero to more than USD $150 million.
Semperis focuses on providing cyber resilience solutions that protect and recover active directory services in hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
The company has developed proprietary technologies that are aimed at safeguarding identity systems from cyberattacks, data breaches, and operational failures. Semperis's tools and platforms are currently trusted by numerous global organisations to identify vulnerabilities, intercept ongoing attacks, and facilitate quick recovery from ransomware and other data integrity emergencies.
The company is headquartered in Hoboken, New Jersey, with its research and development teams spread across the United States, Canada, and Israel. Semperis is also known for hosting the Hybrid Identity Protection conference and podcast series and has developed free community tools such as Purple Knight and Forest Druid, which provide additional support in active directory security.
Semperis has received several industry accolades, including being named among Inc. Magazine's best workplaces for 2023 and identified as America's fastest-growing cybersecurity company by the Financial Times. Furthermore, it has established strong partnerships within the industry, including its associations with Microsoft as part of the Microsoft Enterprise Cloud Alliance and Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA).
Nico Devoti's appointment is anticipated to further strengthen Semperis's strategic partner program, underlining its commitment to advancing cybersecurity measures and providing robust identity system protection for its clients.
