Salesforce launches trusted AI solutions to boost adoption in ASEAN
Salesforce has released new trusted artificial intelligence (AI) and data solutions to help organisations across Singapore and ASEAN enhance AI adoption. The solutions, namely Einstein Copilot, Tableau Pulse, and Slack AI, aim to bridge the AI trust gap apparent in these regions which sees many workers sceptical about the adoption of AI technologies and fearful of the integrity of the data used to train these systems.
Research from Salesforce indicates a significant AI trust gap, with 40% of Singaporean workers not placing trust in the data that trains AI systems. Furthermore, 95% of those who don't trust AI are reluctant to adopt it. Salesforce's new solutions seek to accelerate enterprise AI adoption by providing a unified and trustworthy data foundation.
The Zero Copy Partner Network, an ecosystem launched by Salesforce, seeks to further facilitate this solution. It is designed to construct secure, bidirectional zero copy integrations with Salesforce Data Cloud, enabling data to be actioned across the Salesforce Einstein 1 Platform. Such an initiative provides organisations with considerable control over their data usage and is integral to unlocking the full potential of AI. The network comprises initial partners like Amazon Web Services (AWS), Databricks, Google Cloud, Snowflake, and recently joined partner Microsoft.
Complementing these innovations are Salesforce's Einstein Copilot for Tableau and Salesforce's Tableau Pulse, which are both generally available. Einstein Copilot is Salesforce's conversational AI assistant for customer relationship management (CRM) that significantly enhances sales productivity through generative AI's measured adoption. Several platform augmentations, like Copilot Analytics, aid admins in tracking and auditing the utilisation of Einstein Copilot.
Tableau Pulse, on the other hand, promotes improved and expedient decision-making with trusted generative AI and analytics. This platform uncovers insights using natural language and visuals, assisting users in discovering essential metrics. It connects data to business' real-world context to enhance decision making. Slack AI is available to all paid Slack clients and offers a trusted and intuitive generative AI experience within Slack.
Salesforce's Vice President and Chief Technology Officer, Solutions, Salesforce ASEAN, Gavin Barfield, shared that ASEAN businesses on the path to becoming AI enterprises need to unlock their data and create a strong and trusted data foundation. He said Salesforce, being the trusted enterprise AI advisor to ASEAN businesses, provides trusted AI and data solutions to accelerating productivity and personalised customer experiences.
Philippine Airlines, a Salesforce customer since 2023, endorsed its partnership with Salesforce, emphasising the positive impact on their efforts to improve customer service. Mac Munsayac, Head of Customer Experience, Philippine Airlines is eagerly anticipating the completion of more service cloud-related projects this year as the airline aspires to stay at the forefront of innovation in the aviation sector.
The availability of Salesforce's new solutions and services differs, with some being generally available now and some anticipated to launch later in 2024.
