Respond.io & TikTok launch AI tool for SME growth
Respond.io and TikTok have introduced an AI-driven solution to streamline customer interactions through TikTok Messaging Ads. The solution aims to tackle the economic challenges faced by small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Respond.io, a Malaysia-based customer conversation management platform, has unveiled its AI-powered tool with TikTok Messaging Ads. The tool aims to bridge the USD $4.1 trillion financing gap for SMEs by improving customer service management efficiency and boosting sales without increasing marketing expenditure.
TikTok Messaging Ads allow potential customers to connect with businesses directly within the TikTok app or through other messaging platforms. Respond.io's integration enables businesses to manage all TikTok-related communication on a unified platform alongside other channels like WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger.
The integration aids SMEs in centralising communications across different platforms, creating efficient and scalable workflows. As SMEs face worker shortages and reliance on manual processes, AI tools like Respond.io are set to receive increased investment in the region. Half of SMEs in Asia Pacific (APAC) are projected to adopt such technologies by 2026.
In APAC, where TikTok is a primary communication channel among businesses, SMEs account for over 97% of enterprises. Here, the platform's potential to reduce customer management time by 40% while increasing sales by 30% provides significant opportunities for growth.
