ReliaQuest's AI Agent boosts cybersecurity precision

Today

ReliaQuest has reported significant advancements in security operations with its new agentic AI Agent, which is claimed to perform cybersecurity tasks faster and more accurately than traditional methods.

According to a recent announcement, the AI Agent is said to automate and expedite security alert processing 20 times faster while increasing accuracy by 30% in identifying genuine threats. This technology is fully implemented across more than 1,000 enterprises that engage with ReliaQuest's solutions.

Unlike other AI technologies that may focus on summarising alerts or performing specific tasks, ReliaQuest's agentic AI Agent comprises multiple agents capable of executing various tasks simultaneously, utilising multiple models and tools. The AI Agent makes use of over a decade of incident response data to independently construct workflows and address issues dynamically.

ReliaQuest has highlighted that its AI Agent offers full transparency, allowing security teams to scrutinise its decision-making process and provide ongoing feedback as the system continues to self-learn. It asserts that the system prioritises data privacy, operating within fully segmented, context-specific environments, safeguarded from exposure to public models.

In terms of efficiency, the AI Agent reportedly reduces the mean time to contain threats (MTTC) to less than five minutes. This improvement is said to afford security teams several hours to focus on more strategic investigations or advanced defensive tactics tailored to their organisation's specific requirements.

Brian Murphy, ReliaQuest Founder and CEO, stated, "Agentic AI represents the future of cybersecurity, and we've only just scratched the surface of what's possible. Eliminating Tier 1 and Tier 2 work out of security operations will give our customers' talented security teams back time and energy to do the work that matters, helping to protect the global organizations we all interact with on a daily basis."

James Lowry, Chief Information Security Officer at Signature Aviation, remarked on the challenge facing the cybersecurity industry, saying, "It's clear that people alone will never solve the growing challenges in cybersecurity. We have to lean into AI and automation, and ReliaQuest's agentic AI Agent is at the cutting edge. ReliaQuest's holistic approach takes Agentic AI to the next level, helping us get a more accurate operational picture so we can respond more quickly. In an industry where it's difficult to separate hype from reality, ReliaQuest has figured out how to turn its expertise in security operations into a comprehensive solution that works."
