Paydibs unveils Nexus suite & Mini POS for MSMEs

Wed, 14th Jan 2026

Paydibs has launched a new eCommerce suite, Nexus, and added a Mini POS feature to its Paydibs Pay app, positioning the products as lower-cost digital tools for Malaysian micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.

The releases target businesses that continue to face barriers to digitalisation, particularly in underserved segments. Malaysia has more than 1.1 million registered MSMEs, representing nearly 97% of enterprises nationwide.

"True inclusion means equipping every Malaysian business, from single-stall hawkers to growing retail chains, with simple, affordable digital tools that remove barriers to growth. By combining Nexus eCommerce and our new Mini POS, we are delivering innovative payment solutions that empower MSMEs to manage operations and receive payments seamlessly across all channels," said Tee Kean Kang, Chief Executive Officer, Paydibs.

Paydibs describes Nexus as an all-in-one eCommerce suite designed for merchants looking to start selling online, with a focus on simple setup and hands-on support for businesses with limited technical experience.

Under the operating model, merchants provide product details, pricing structures and a business name, while Paydibs manages storefront configuration and payment integration. Onboarding support is provided through dedicated teams.

Nexus is positioned as part of a broader push to increase participation in the digital economy among smaller firms, responding to demand for commerce and payment tools that require minimal up-front investment.

Alongside the online-focused suite, Paydibs has introduced a Mini POS feature within the Paydibs Pay app. The feature turns Android smart terminals into a single device for in-store operations, including table management, product handling and payment processing.

Mini POS is positioned as an alternative to separate point-of-sale hardware, reducing the need for additional equipment in settings such as cafés and food courts.

The interface combines checkout and administrative functions, with transaction data feeding into centralised dashboards. These dashboards provide real-time analytics on metrics such as best-selling items and table occupancy.

Food and beverage and retail merchants can access the Mini POS feature on compatible Android smart terminals for RM360, with an annual maintenance fee of RM120.

Separate pricing for Nexus was not disclosed, and no breakdown of expected revenue contribution between the eCommerce suite and the in-app Mini POS feature was provided.

Malaysia's MSMEs span a wide range of operating models, from cash-based microbusinesses to multi-branch retailers. Paydibs' target market includes single-stall operators and growing retail chains, with product design focused on merchants with limited time or digital expertise.

Paydibs is a registered Payment Service Provider under Malaysia's Financial Services Act 2013 and offers digital payment acceptance across cards, online banking, eWallets and QR payments, alongside other local methods.

The company plans further activity to drive merchant adoption, including product demonstrations for businesses evaluating digital tools for both online and in-store operations.
