MMS Group Indonesia adopts Workday HCM for growth boost

Thu, 7th Nov 2024

Workday has announced that MMS Group Indonesia will be implementing Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) to transform its workforce digitally.

MMS Group Indonesia, a prominent business entity in the energy and property sectors, is poised for a significant expansion of its operations. The company has revealed plans to double its workforce within the next year, necessitating the adoption of a robust tech solution to streamline its human resource endeavours. In response, MMS Group Indonesia has chosen to deploy Workday HCM to support this transformational phase.

Through this strategic move, MMS Group Indonesia aims to integrate standardised HR practices with the versatility needed to sustain its growth trajectory. Workday's platform will offer the company's leaders immediate access to actionable insights and real-time data, aiding in the optimisation of processes and improvement of cost efficiencies across the board.

MMS Group Indonesia's Chief Executive Officer, Sendy Greti, stated, "MMS Group Indonesia will celebrate its 20th anniversary next year, and we are proud of our growth into a diversified business group. Our vision is to continue growing sustainably, and to do so, we need to grow a robust talent pipeline. We are glad to embark on this strategic alliance with Workday as we accelerate the digital transformation of our workforce and reinforce our commitment to growth and transformative impacts across the industries we serve."

Within its operational framework, MMS Group Indonesia encompasses three pivotal divisions: MMS Resources, MMS Solutions, and MMS Land. These units focus on integrated mining management, renewable energy solutions, and property and hospitality sectors, respectively. The group is dedicated to advancing Indonesia's future through sustainability-infused strategies and oversees a network of operations in more than 13 countries, with a workforce exceeding 1,000 professionals.

By leveraging Workday's platform, which incorporates features such as Workday Absence Management, Workday Compensation, and Workday Recruiting, the company will be able to alleviate the administrative demands on HR. This will, in turn, permit employees to engage in roles that provide added value and enhance overall engagement levels.

Pannie Sia, General Manager, ASEAN, Workday, commented, "Forward-thinking organisations recognise that HR functions as a strategic business partner. Building robust HR practices is imperative for overall business agility and long-term success. At Workday, we are committed to continuous innovation to produce best-in-class solutions that help large organisations like MMS Group Indonesia better navigate the complexities of a distributed workforce."

Workday's platform, which is integrated with artificial intelligence, is designed to facilitate improved collaboration among MMS Group Indonesia employees, thereby boosting productivity and efficiency. This investment positions MMS Group Indonesia favourably to attract, nurture, and sustain talent indispensable for thriving within an ever-evolving business environment.

The strategic alliance underscores MMS Group Indonesia's dedication to fortifying its talent management capabilities, aligning with its broader sustainable development objectives as it strives to enhance its competitive edge in the market.
