Maurizio Garavello named Senior VP for Qlik in APJ region

Maurizio Garavello has been appointed as Senior Vice President, Asia Pacific & Japan (APJ) at Qlik, assuming the role from Geoff Thomas who is retiring.

Garavello will oversee Qlik's operations in the APJ region, concentrating on expansion, enhancing customer relations, and promoting the use of AI-powered solutions. Reporting directly to Casey George, Executive Vice President, Global Sales, Garavello will utilise his extensive experience to help Qlik respond to the increasing demand for AI-driven innovation within the region.

Garavello's responsibilities will include steering Qlik's sales and go-to-market strategies, with a particular emphasis on fostering robust customer and partner networks to achieve sustainable growth. He succeeds Geoff Thomas, who has held the role for nearly six years, and his leadership experience is viewed as a key asset in unlocking the region's potential.

Garavello boasts over two decades of leadership experience spanning sales, channel management, and commercial operations. His previous role at Eptura saw him expand the APJ business and fortify enterprise engagements. At Dynatrace, as Vice President of APJ, he was instrumental in significantly increasing the firm's regional influence. His career commenced at IBM, where he developed a blend of technical expertise and strategic acumen.
