Linnworks appoints Georgia Leybourne as Chief Marketing Officer
Linnworks, a prominent provider of inventory, order, and warehouse management system solutions, and the recently announced Connected CommerceOps platform, has revealed the appointment of acclaimed ecommerce leader Georgia Leybourne as its new Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
In her role, Leybourne will utilise her 15 years of experience in supply chain logistics and digital commerce to oversee Linnworks' marketing efforts, boost brand awareness, and conjure strategies that effectively reach a diverse customer base. Sugaring, her proven expertise in the ecommerce sector will underpin the expansion of Linnworks' presence and fortify the company's reputation as a unified software provider under its Connected CommerceOps platform.
Leybourne's role brings with it the promise of a focus on maximising revenue potential for retail, wholesale and direct-to-consumer operations through the creation of frictionless consumer journeys.
The Connected CommerceOps platform will proffer three core features to retailers: connection to multiple marketplaces, automation of traditionally time-consuming ecommerce processes, and a centralised repository designed to merge listings, inventory, orders and shipments into one single platform.
Prior to her appointment at Linnworks, Leybourne held key marketing leadership positions at Transporeon and Manhattan Associates, consistently driving brand recognition and customer engagement through inventive marketing strategies.
Upon reflecting on her new position, Leybourne remarks, "Linnworks represents a market leader for SMBs aspiring to quickly grow and scale their offering across multiple marketplaces and shipping partners. Not only does Linnworks simplify the lives of ecommerce retailers, but also aids them in expanding their business whilst enhancing efficiency within their commerce operations. I am thrilled to be joining Linnworks at such an exciting time for the company and its customers."
Chris Timmer, CEO of Linnworks, expressed enthusiasm about the appointment, stating, "We are excited to welcome Georgia to our leadership team as we continue to expand our services. Her expertise and impressive track record will bolster our efforts to deliver a unified software platform under the Connected CommerceOps brand."
Timmer also expressed optimism for the future, saying, "We look forward to the innovation and strategic insights Georgia will bring to the company as we embark on this new chapter, and offer a comprehensive and multifaceted ecommerce solution for our customers."
