Elite appoints Lindsey Moorley as CFO in the Midst of Growth Strategy
Tue, 26th Sep 2023

Elite, the leading provider of financial and practice management solutions to law firms, has announced the appointment of Lindsey Moorley as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO). This comes as part of a broader business and growth strategy, following the recent acquisition of a majority stake by TPG Capital and the company's emergence as an independent business.

Lindsey Moorley joins Elite during a critical period. Prior to this appointment, she held the role of Senior Vice President, Corporate FP&A, at NielsenIQ, a $3.1bn Advent International portfolio company in the information services sector. During her tenure at NielsenIQ, she led Corporate and Global Financial Planning and Analysis across the organisation, supporting a $1bn merger with GFK completed in June 2023.

Moorley's journey in finance began with Shepherd Kaplan Krochuk, a leading SEC-registered investment advisory firm, after which she completed the two-year Financial Management Program at GE Capital. She also holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University’s Questrom School of Business and an MBA from the University of North Carolina.

Mark Dorman, CEO of Elite, expressed his optimism about Moorley's appointment: “Lindsey’s insight and expertise will be a tremendous asset to Elite as we continue to build out our world-class team as a fully independent business, in order to accelerate our growth and evolution. She brings to the table robust experience in building highly skilled international finance organisations through public and private equity ownership, driving strategic top-line growth within SaaS portfolios, and building robust operating processes from the ground up - all of which will prove valuable as we embark on this next phase for Elite.”

In response to her new appointment, Lindsey Moorley stated: “It’s a very exciting time to join Elite and be part of the team that’s leading the digitalisation of the legal industry.”
