Blue Yonder has released its highlights for the second quarter of fiscal 2026, including product launches, partnerships and research findings.

During the quarter, the supply chain software company added 27 new customer logos, announced partnerships with Nvidia and Syndigo, and appeared in 24 technology industry analyst reports.

AI focus

Among the main announcements was Blue Yonder's Model Training Factory, which uses Nvidia Nemotron and the Nvidia NeMo Agent Toolkit. It is designed as a repeatable system for fine-tuning and testing supply chain models that can handle multi-step workflows alongside human operators.

The first models will focus on warehouse management workflows such as allocation shorts, inventory exceptions, due-time urgency, and inventory across yard and receiving trailers. They are trained on synthetic rather than customer data.

Blue Yonder expects those models to enter customer production through its Cognitive Solutions later this year. The broader aim is to support more autonomous decision-making across warehouse management, planning, transportation, merchandising, and network operations.

Product updates

Blue Yonder also introduced new Cognitive Solutions for Space Planning and for Production Planning and Scheduling. The space planning offering links planograms with assortment, allocation, replenishment, warehousing, and transportation workflows, while the production planning product connects supply planning more directly with factory floor constraints.

Other updates included new and revised AI agents, a unified user interface across desktop and mobile, and new localisation features. The company also announced planning tools intended to improve auditability by explaining optimisation decisions in plain language and recording forecast changes, overrides, and approvals.

In warehouse and commerce software, the quarter's updates included advanced slotting, automation integration extensions, return-to-vendor dispositioning, a fulfilment commits service for service-level agreement management, and changes to online returns processes.

Data partnership

Blue Yonder also announced a partnership with Syndigo, which provides product information management and content services. The arrangement is intended to bring Syndigo's product content, including standardised images, validated attributes, and dimensions, into Blue Yonder workflows and platform tools.

The integration is intended to make product data available across the digital supply chain and network partners in real time. The same data would also feed into Blue Yonder Space Planning to support planogram creation, optimisation, and compliance monitoring.

The companies said the partnership is aimed at reducing manual data cleansing and improving data consistency across planning and store operations. Product content updates made in Syndigo could then flow to partners connected through the Blue Yonder network.

Sustainability findings

The quarterly update also included findings from Blue Yonder's 2026 Supply Chain Compass: Spotlight on Sustainability report, which examined the views of North American and European supply chain leaders. The research found that 66% are actively working to reduce their supply chain's impact.

According to the survey, 47% of large enterprises have created dedicated sustainability teams, and 56% said supply chain operators bear responsibility for helping address issues such as inflation and climate change. Yet only 12% of supply chain leaders placed sustainability among their top three strategic priorities, down from 24% a year earlier.

Confidence levels were also limited, with only one in five leaders saying they were confident of achieving their sustainability objectives. The report found that 26% of respondents saw data and traceability as the main actions needed to advance sustainability efforts, while 33% identified forecasting technology as an opportunity.

A quarter of respondents said current sustainability targets did not go far enough. Another 25% said the right sustainability initiatives would disrupt current processes.

Recognition

Blue Yonder was also named a Top 100 Logistics & Supply Chain Technology Provider by Inbound Logistics. Saskia van Gendt, Chief Sustainability Officer, was named a Top 250 Sustainability Leader by Sustainability Magazine.

The company also cited appearances in analyst research from Gartner, IDC, Forrester, and Nucleus across warehouse management, retail technology, digital commerce, sustainability software, and multi-enterprise supply chain commerce networks. Those mentions formed part of its broader effort to demonstrate momentum as software groups race to tie AI tools more closely to logistics, planning, and retail operations.

Blue Yonder said it serves more than 3,000 retailers, manufacturers, and logistics service providers.
