Big Data Exchange appoints Deepa Swaminathan as Marketing Vice President
Deepa Swaminathan has joined its growing executive leadership team.
Big Data Exchange (BDx) welcomes Swaminathan as its Marketing Vice President. She joins BDx at a critical time as the company recently embarked on a new joint venture in Indonesia, launching BDx Indonesia and continuing with its plans to rapidly grow across key APAC markets.
With over two decades of experience, Swaminathan began her tenure at BDx by spearheading major global marketing initiatives as the company shifted its headquarters to Singapore, a move that allows BDx leaders to align more closely with the city-island-nation's dynamic technology landscape.
"This is an exciting time to join BDx. As the company continues to solidify its position as one of the world's fastest-growing data centre companies and a leading provider of data centre solutions across APAC, I'll leverage my experience to elevate BDx and help us reach our growth objectives. I'm honoured to be part of this leading-edge company," Swaminathan says.
"BDx has aggressive plans to grow as we enhance capacity in Indonesia to 250MW in the next five years, as well as develop strategies to enter into additional key APAC markets," says Braham Singh, CEO, BDx.
"With Deepa's experience in management, business development, marketing and public relations, as well as her deep knowledge of the APAC region, she'll play an integral role in setting strategies and communicating key messages to our customers."
Prior to joining BDx, she held senior marketing and leadership roles at several companies, including Citrix, Informatica, The Hoffman Agency, GBG and more. In addition to a bachelor's degree in history, she holds advanced public relations and marketing management qualifications from Hong Kong Management Association and Wolsey Hall Oxford.
