Atomicwork secures USD $25m to enhance AI IT platform

Yesterday

San Francisco-based Atomicwork has secured USD $25 million in a Series A funding round to further develop its service management platform for Enterprise IT.

The funding was primarily led by Khosla Ventures and Z47, with additional participation from Battery Ventures, Blume Ventures, and Peak XV Partners. The new capital is intended to support Atomicwork's endeavours in transforming IT service management through its AI-driven platform.

As businesses expand globally, traditional IT service management (ITSM) tools struggle to meet modern demands.

Atomicwork's platform aims to offload routine tasks from IT teams by utilising a combination of an enterprise knowledge graph and agentic AI. This approach is designed to streamline workflows, manage incidents in real time, and enable systems to self-heal, thereby allowing IT teams to focus on more strategic objectives.

Atomicwork CEO Vijay Rayapati said, "We are pioneering agentic service management to transform how companies manage their IT workflows and enterprise services. This investment is a significant milestone, validating our vision of a future where smarter IT teams drive business growth and companies are empowered by technology, not bogged down by it. Our unified and adaptive self-service experience will enable businesses to move faster."

Global firms such as Zuora and Pepper Money are already harnessing Atomicwork's technology to bolster team efficiency through intelligent automation and actionable insights, ultimately transforming their digital workplace experience.

The Series A funding round follows a period of significant product adoption and robust backing from over 40 global CIOs, CTOs, and industry veterans. Kanu Gulati of Khosla Ventures remarked, "Atomicwork's AI agents can autonomously handle everyday IT services, and employees can then focus on actually growing the business."

"This is the AI innovation that large organizations need to radically transform how they work."

Pranay Desai, Managing Director at Z47, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration with Atomicwork, stating, "Atomicwork has built a remarkable team and proven technology, and we've witnessed firsthand how they're transforming IT service management for global businesses. Their potential is immense to redefine the future of enterprise IT with Agentic AI. Having been part of their journey since the seed round, we're thrilled to continue our partnership and support their next phase of growth."

The funds from this Series A round will aid in scaling the deployment of enterprise AI agents, as well as enhancing go-to-market strategies. The focus will be on enlarging platform support for key enterprise integrations to maintain seamless scalability.

Neeraj Agrawal, General Partner at Battery Ventures, commented, "Enterprise IT is undergoing a radical transformation and Atomicwork's agentic service management platform is in a great position to innovate in this space."

"We are excited to be a part of the company's journey as it continues to scale and innovate for enterprise IT teams."
