A24 appoints Shane Tully as Global Chief Information Security Officer

A24 has announced the appointment of Shane Tully as the Global Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), signaling a robust move in enhancing its security services and commitment to information security. Shane is a renowned security expert with an impressive track record in highly regulated industries, including government agencies, transport, and financial services in Australia.

Shane's resume includes a wealth of experience in security architecture, strategy planning, risk and assurance, and major regulatory change projects. Among his notable achievements are founding the oneworld® airline alliance IT Security Forum, serving as a board member of The Jericho Forum, and representing SCADA to the Australian Government IT Security Expert Advisory Group (ITSEAG) from August 2009 to June 2013.

He has also been a key contributor to various significant security initiatives such as the Cloud Security Alliance, SABSA-TOGAF integration, Australian Government Trusted Information Sharing Network (TISN), and the MITRE ATT&CK Framework. Shane's leadership extended to the international Cyberstorm III exercise in 2010, fostering collaboration between government and industry from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the UK, and the US.

His contribution to information security has been acknowledged with awards from The Open Group, recognizing his exceptional contribution to the Information Security Decade of De-perimeterisation 2004-2013. Furthermore, Shane was honored as the first Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Information Security (CIISec) outside the UK.
