Westcon-Comstor launches PartnerCentral in eight new Asian markets
Tue, 12th Dec 2023

Global technology provider Westcon-Comstor has unveiled its multi-vendor online marketplace, PartnerCentral, in eight new Asian markets. The platform permits seamless access to configure, quote, and order complex hybrid solutions spanning software, services, and hardware.

The digital portal, which has already been launched in several Asian territories, will now be available in Singapore, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, and South Korea. The expansion is the latest step in a phased global deployment that kicked off earlier in the calendar year.

PartnerCentral provides an array of benefits to its users, including access to data insights, learning tools, and enablement resources that help them grasp new opportunities and current market trends. It offers a straightforward self-service approach while automating pricing, quoting and ordering.

This toolkit will allow Westcon-Comstor's partners to easily track orders, streamline their sales cycles and simplify their progression to subscription and recurring revenue models.

Wilson Ho, Managing Director, Asia at Westcon-Comstor, commented on the launch: "We are excited to be bringing the benefits of PartnerCentral to eight more key markets in Asia."

"We have had extremely positive feedback from existing PartnerCentral users across APAC and further afield, with many observing that it is saving them time and effort while aiding their transition to subscription and recurring revenue models."

"We ultimately want all our partners worldwide to accelerate their growth by harnessing the power of PartnerCentral, and today's expansion represents a key milestone in our global rollout," said Wilson Ho.

Patrick Aronson, Executive Vice President of Asia Pacific and Chief Marketing Officer at Westcon-Comstor, emphasises their ongoing business transformation over the past five years with the introduction of PartnerCentral. This platform signifies a shift towards a more automated and digitally engaged approach, empowering their partners to adapt and enhance their offerings in sync with evolving market demands.

Aronson stresses the importance of providing partners with the necessary tools, data, and educational resources to succeed in a dynamic and challenging market environment.

Patrick Aronson said: "With PartnerCentral, we're building on the business transformation journey we have been on for the last five years, shifting to the second wave of a more automated, digital engagement. In doing this we are giving our partners the support they need to evolve their offerings at the right time and at the right pace."

"We need to give them the tools to succeed and ensure they have access to data and educational resources they need to serve their customers in a changing and demanding market."
