Vertex Group names Puneeta Rajwant to lead India push
Vertex Group has appointed Puneeta Rajwant as Head of Business Support and Administration as it expands operations in India and prepares a new InfraTech unit.
The company said Rajwant will oversee business support functions linked to multi-site growth and internal change programmes. Vertex Group also set a revenue target of INR ₹1,000 crore.
Vertex Group described the move as part of its "Vertex 2.0" transformation agenda. The company said the programme includes AI-driven automation, intelligent infrastructure, and other digital technologies.
India expansion
Vertex Group is increasing its presence in India amid rising spending on technology infrastructure. The company pointed to smart cities, AI-enabled facilities, and changes in digital workplace systems as factors behind the market's growth.
Vertex Group said it plans a multi-site expansion across India. It also said it expects to launch an InfraTech business vertical. The company linked the new unit to managed office infrastructure, building systems, and digital workplace products.
Rajwant has more than 25 years of experience in operations, facilities management, and real estate portfolios, according to the company. Her previous roles included work at Teleperformance India, R1 RCM, Dell International Services, and Convergys.
Vertex Group said Rajwant has worked on operational environments that served 40,000 employees and covered 1.7 million square feet. The company said she has used automation, IoT-enabled systems, and data-led planning in previous roles.
Operational remit
In her new role, Rajwant will take responsibility for business support and administration as Vertex Group expands sites and facilities. The company said she will also work on the InfraTech unit. It described the unit as covering smart managed office infrastructure, intelligent building systems, and digital workplace solutions.
The company said these offerings will use IoT, AI-led facilities management, and cloud-based operational platforms. Vertex Group also said Rajwant will work on talent acquisition and workforce management using data-based systems.
Vertex Group said the appointment aligns with a greater focus on India as a talent hub. The company did not provide headcount figures or investment totals related to its India expansion.

Wider footprint
Vertex Group said it operates in the USA, UK, Philippines, UAE, Nepal, India, and Africa. It said it plans further expansion in Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and Saudi Arabia.
The company said it has five core business verticals and expects two new divisions. It also said it is pursuing diversification through acquisitions and product development.
Vertex Group said it plans to launch proprietary AI products focused on outsourcing workflows, task automation, precision improvements, and data-driven decision-making.
Founded in 2016, Vertex Group said it is headquartered in Times Square, New York, and provides "intelligent enterprise solutions". The company said the InfraTech unit forms part of a wider programme of technology and operational changes tied to "Vertex 2.0".
