Tufin, a network and cloud security policy company, has announced the release of a new solution called 'Dashboard Essentials'. This solution offers improved analytics aimed at monitoring security, compliance, and operational efficiency for customers.

The innovative feature provides a visualised snapshot of a customer's environment, both before and after the implementation of Tufin. It offers detailed metrics related to role cleanup, risk reduction, USPS, and other crucial factors. An added utility of Dashboard Essentials is its ability to allow customers to create and export PDF reports based on custom intervals, an element designed to enhance their capacity to monitor progress effectively.

Dashboard Essentials, an extension of the Tufin Orchestration Suite, offers specialised analytics tools with the aim of helping customers track the progress of their security implementation and evaluate the return on investment of their Tufin purchase. The extension is an easy-to-use instrument for bridging the gap between the initial deployment and the achievement of operational milestones while simultaneously highlighting successes along the journey.

Hadas Lahav, the Director of Product Management and Applications at Tufin, emphasised the positive impact of their security policy management solution on network environments. Customers can generate PDF reports to simplify the process of monitoring progress and sharing successes with their larger teams.

The solution endeavours to enable organisations to track the status of goals such as achieving compliance with PCI DSS 4.0, NERC-CIP and other regulatory frameworks. It aids in implementing a comprehensive rule certification process, measures risk across networks, tracks mitigation efforts, and demonstrates adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for access and other change requests.

The Dashboard Essentials solution is currently undergoing beta testing. It has been designed as a tool to help identify and address cleanup and risk reduction needs, ultimately with the goal of enhancing network efficiency and performance. The final version is expected to deliver high levels of security and operational efficiency through the use of cutting-edge analytics. This aims to empower customers to visualise their security position, measure progress, and ensure they reach their organisational goals.
