Trustwave partners with Microsoft for cutting-edge cybersecurity initiative

Global cybersecurity company, Trustwave, has announced their involvement in the Microsoft Security Copilot Partner private preview, an initiative marked by exploring cutting-edge security functionality and fostering close relationships with Microsoft.

Trustwave's position in the Microsoft Security Copilot Partner private preview is based on its demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Security technologies.

The cybersecurity firm's responsibilities within the project include the validation and refinement of new and anticipated situations, offering constructive feedback on product development and operations for future product releases, and assessing and critiquing APIs to aid with Security Copilot extensibility.

Pereira emphasised the importance of their collaboration with Microsoft product teams, contributing to advancements in cybersecurity, implementing artificial intelligence (AI)-driven solutions, and strengthening organisations against damaging and disruptive cybersecurity threats.

Expressing their optimism towards integrating AI in revolutionising cybersecurity, Ann Johnson, Corporate Vice President at Microsoft Security Business Development shared, "AI is one of the defining technologies of our time and has the potential to drive meaningful, step-change progress in cybersecurity."

Furthermore, Johnson added that "Security is a team sport, and we are pleased to work alongside our Security Copilot partner ecosystem to deliver customers solutions that enhance cyber defenses and make the promise of AI real."

Microsoft's Security Copilot is the first AI-powered security product that enables security professionals to respond to threats swiftly, process signals at machine speed, and assess risk exposure in mere minutes.

Utilising an advanced large language model (LLM) coupled with a security-specific model, Microsoft's Security Copilot provides insights obtained from Microsoft's exclusive global threat intelligence and over 65 trillion daily signals.

In the upcoming Microsoft Ignite 2023 event, Trustwave will be highlighted as a featured partner within the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA) demo booth, underlining the cybersecurity firm's growing relationship with Microsoft.

Overall, Trustwave comments the company is committed to lessening cyber risks and fortifying-global organisations against disruptive and damaging cyber threats.
