Tim McIntire named Chief Technology Officer at Hyland

Hyland has appointed Tim McIntire as Chief Technology Officer.

In his new role, McIntire will guide Hyland's product strategy, focusing on global engineering initiatives to enhance the company's solutions and ensure streamlined user experiences across the firm's product suite.

"Tim is a seasoned, hands-on technologist with a deep understanding of global software engineering execution, distributed team leadership, and building high-performing technology ecosystems. His excitement for our technology and passion for driving new innovations ensures we can continue to deliver a robust, scalable, and secure technology architecture that supports the company's growth." Hyland CEO, Jitesh S. Ghai, commented on the appointment.

Tim McIntire joins Hyland with more than 20 years of experience in technology leadership and engineering. He co-founded StackIQ, a platform business acquired by Teradata in 2017.

Following the acquisition, McIntire took up roles within Teradata, including responsibility for several enterprise data and analytics product launches. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President of Product Engineering at Teradata, leading an engineering organisation of over 1,000 employees.

As Chief Technology Officer, McIntire will define Hyland's engineering strategy. His remit includes aligning the firm's long-term technology vision with the development of scalable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure.

He will oversee the evolution of Hyland's engineering organisation, focusing on improvements in cloud operations, software development practices, and technical architecture across all company regions.

Hyland has highlighted McIntire's background in AI, cloud computing, and platforms as an important fit for the firm's ongoing developments, including its focus on AI-powered content intelligence and further cloud-based service offerings.

The firm provides unified content, process, and application intelligence solutions to organisations worldwide.

Its clients include multiple organisations among the Fortune 100, and it positions itself as a company that enables businesses to unlock insights and power operational improvements through its content and process management technologies.
