Telehouse & Symphony partner to boost cloud & ASEAN connectivity

Wed, 19th Nov 2025

Telehouse Thailand and Symphony have announced a partnership aimed at supporting cloud adoption and interconnection for enterprises in Thailand and across the ASEAN region.

ASEAN connectivity

The partnership brings together Telehouse's data centre infrastructure with Symphony's fibre network and cloud services. The two companies plan to deliver secure, low-latency connections to support organisations undergoing digital transformation. Key features include multi-cloud interconnection for enterprises, seamless cross-border connectivity, and use of a renewable energy-powered facility in Bangkok.

Telehouse operates a data centre in Bangkok built with a 99.999% power supply uptime service level agreement. The site, powered entirely by renewable energy and I-REC certified, is compliant with PCI DSS standards, providing a combination of operational stability and security for enterprise and carrier clients.

Cloud and network services

The collaboration leverages Symphony's cloud portfolio, offering Infrastructure-as-a-Service, Backup-as-a-Service, Disaster Recovery-as-a-Service, and managed cloud solutions, to help organisations scale and secure their workloads. Symphony's cloud and fibre backbone connects with Telehouse's data centre to support connectivity to multi-cloud environments with a focus on scalability and reliability.

"SYMPHONY is proud to collaborate with Telehouse in strengthening Thailand's position as a key digital hub in the ASEAN region. Together, we are building a powerful foundation of cloud and connectivity that enables enterprises to grow globally with confidence. This partnership reinforces our commitment to deliver exceptional infrastructure that drives innovation and growth across the region," said Alex Loh, Chief Executive Officer, Symphony Communication.

By hosting services within Telehouse's Bangkok data centre, Symphony aims to enhance cloud connectivity and deliver improved latency for both local and multinational enterprises. The partnership is also intended to enable greater agility and resilience for customers' mission-critical workloads, according to the two companies.

Cross-border infrastructure

The relationship is designed to provide integrated connectivity for organisations with operations in multiple countries. Symphony's fibre network infrastructure - which includes national and international routes, as well as submarine cable connections - is to be combined with Telehouse's international data centre footprint to facilitate cross-border data exchange between Thailand, ASEAN countries, and global hubs in Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Europe.

The Bangkok data centre includes four diverse fibre routes, which the companies say provides higher levels of redundancy against network outages. By linking their respective infrastructure, Telehouse and Symphony are aiming to offer a single point of contact for enterprises and service providers looking to expand across Southeast Asia.

Digital hub ambitions

Thailand has set out an ambition to act as a digital hub for the ASEAN region. This partnership forms part of ongoing investment in cloud connectivity, data exchange, and enterprise infrastructure.

"It is a pleasure to support our valuable partner, SYMPHONY, and their customers' growth," said Ken Miyashita, Managing Director, Telehouse Thailand. "Our robust interconnection ecosystem empowers enterprises to harness AI-driven and cloud-based services with greater agility, scalability, and reliability," said Miyashita.
