Telehouse Europe appoints Chris Lamb as Enterprise Director

Wed, 11th Feb 2026

Telehouse Europe has appointed Chris Lamb as Enterprise Director, responsible for expanding its approach to enterprise customers and sector-specific offerings.

Lamb will lead work across financial services, media, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing. Telehouse said these sectors are facing infrastructure requirements driven by more performance-intensive, increasingly latency-sensitive workloads.

The role moves Telehouse Europe beyond its established colocation and connectivity base. The company is positioning its enterprise activity around tailored infrastructure strategies and closer alignment between customer objectives and service design.

Lamb joins from Neos Networks, where he held senior roles in enterprise sales and systems integration. He has also worked at Verizon Business and KCOM. Telehouse plans to draw on that experience as it engages more directly with enterprise IT and transformation programmes.

Sector Focus

Telehouse identified financial services, media, healthcare, retail, and manufacturing as priority sectors, each with a different mix of compliance, data sensitivity, and application needs. Financial services firms often prioritise resilience and connectivity in and around major trading and financial centres. Media companies handle large volumes of content and time-critical distribution. Healthcare organisations balance security, privacy, and system availability. Retailers manage peaks in demand and distributed operations. Manufacturing is increasing its use of connected systems and data-driven processes across sites.

Telehouse operates data centres and provides colocation services. It also connects customers with carriers, cloud providers, and other ecosystem partners. Its London Docklands campus is a major UK interconnection site and sits at the centre of the company's enterprise proposition for organisations seeking proximity to networks and partners.

Telehouse said the new enterprise division will focus on understanding sector requirements and shaping solutions around expected outcomes. This places more emphasis on how customers consume infrastructure services and connect systems across sites and suppliers.

Telehouse also highlighted the role of customer and partner relationships in its enterprise strategy. It described Lamb's leadership style as open and collaborative, with an emphasis on transparency and delivery.

Customer Alignment

In a statement on his appointment, Lamb linked the role to shifting demand patterns and the need for services to match business priorities.

"My key focus in this role is ensuring our products and services are aligned to what our customers are trying to achieve, helping them to reach their digital transformation goals as infrastructure demands become more performance-intensive and increasingly latency-sensitive. I'm excited to join a team that puts customer outcomes first, and to help guide our enterprise strategy across specific verticals," said Chris Lamb, Enterprise Director, Telehouse Europe.

Telehouse Europe Executive Vice President and General Manager Mark Pestridge said the appointment reflects the company's direction and customer expectations.

"We are delighted to have appointed Chris Lamb to head up our enterprise strategy. Chris brings a proven track record of success with some of the industry's leading organisations and an unparalleled understanding of enterprise customer needs. His appointment reflects our focus on supporting customers with the resilient, high-performance digital infrastructure they need, both today and in the years ahead," said Mark Pestridge, Executive Vice President and General Manager, Telehouse Europe.

Telehouse said it supplies electricity from 100% renewable sources across its data centres. Sustainability is becoming a growing focus for data centre operators as customers scrutinise energy supply, reporting requirements, and operational efficiency.

Lamb will be responsible for building Telehouse Europe's enterprise engagement across the named sectors and shaping how the company packages infrastructure strategy, colocation, and connectivity options for larger organisations.
