Tamnoon partners with Wiz to boost cloud threat detection

Yesterday

Tamnoon has announced its partnership with Wiz as a launch partner for the Wiz Defend solution to enhance real-time cloud threat detection and response.

The collaboration sees Tamnoon integrate its Managed Cloud Security Remediation capabilities with Wiz Defend, leveraging the Wiz Integration Network (WIN) to offer advanced security insights and visibility across the cloud ecosystem. This strategic partnership aims to empower customers and their Security Operations Centre (SOC) and Incident Response (IR) teams.

The WIN platform facilitates the bi-directional sharing of security findings among various industry-leading partners, enabling mutual customers to access enhanced cloud visibility and improved security response. With this integration, WIN seeks to elevate the preparedness and incident handling capabilities of SOC and IR teams.

One of the key benefits includes enhanced cloud visibility achieved through Wiz's agentless scanning, providing teams with immediate insights into workloads and cloud services. This visibility is complemented by Tamnoon's AI-driven and human-verified cloud security capabilities, allowing faster mitigation of critical threats.

Efforts to reduce alert fatigue are supported by Wiz Issues, which highlight toxic risk combinations leading to potential attack vectors. Tamnoon supplements this by correlating alerts and information on critical assets, offering proactive investigations and human-AI led analysis. They also provide tailored remediation playbooks for seamless transition between security and engineering teams, facilitating quicker resolution of identified issues.

The partnership also addresses cloud exposure remediation by automating the resolution of Wiz issues via Tamnoon's managed cloud remediation. This process ensures safe, scalable fixes and continuous improvement through exposure reduction Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), aimed at driving threats and exposures to minimal levels within a few months.

The collaboration is designed to help organisations eliminate blind spots and telemetry gaps, bolstering readiness for cloud incidents and enhancing multi-cloud threat management.

Marina Segal, CEO of Tamnoon, stated, "By combining Wiz's advanced CNAPP capabilities with Tamnoon's expert-curated prioritization, investigation and remediation playbooks, organizations can effectively tackle cloud misconfigurations and enhance their security posture at scale, safely reducing critical threat exposures to near zero. We are excited and proud to be a Wiz Defend launch partner, expanding on our strategic partnership and demonstrating our commitment to continuous reduction of cloud threats and exposures for our joint customers."

Oron Noah, VP of Product Extensibility & Partnerships at Wiz, remarked, "WIN partners are key to the success of Wiz Defend. Customers want agility, choice, and to work with the best of the best – thanks to WIN, they get it in one place while also reinventing threat detection in the cloud. All of us at Wiz are immeasurably grateful for the amazing work of these partners as they tackle real security challenges and innovate at scale."
