SingularityNET & Bitgrit form partnership for AGI boost

Yesterday

SingularityNET has formed a partnership with Bitgrit to connect a vast network of AI/ML engineers to its decentralised AI marketplace.

The collaboration between SingularityNET and Bitgrit aims to accelerate the development and adoption of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) by integrating Bitgrit's community of over 35,000 AI and machine learning engineers with SingularityNET's decentralised platform. It establishes a channel for AI/ML professionals to engage with SingularityNET's marketplace and participate in developer challenges, enhancing innovation in decentralised AI applications.

The partnership is designed to boost the creation of decentralised AI applications and support the advancement of OpenCog Hyperon, SingularityNET's AGI framework. SingularityNET aims to leverage the diverse expertise available through Bitgrit to improve next-generation AI models, essential for the evolution of AGI beyond narrow AI capabilities.

Through the SingularityNET's Deepfunding.ai platform, Bitgrit's engineers will be involved in addressing key AGI challenges, aiming to make swift progress towards a decentralised AGI that serves global benefits. This synergy seeks to create a more open and accessible ecosystem for AGI innovation, allowing for the practical application of AI in various sectors.

Bitgrit is an AI/ML competition and recruitment platform, known for its international community of data scientists and engineers. Supported by the Abu Dhabi and Japanese governments, Bitgrit enables organisations to license pre-built APIs and engage with its network through funded challenges aimed at solving complex data science problems. Its services, such as the Generative AI Fake Image Detection API and the Viral Tweet Prediction API, are integral to its offering as it plans to expand its range in the coming year.

SingularityNET believes this partnership will expand its reach and enhance participation in future Deepfunding.ai initiatives via Bitgrit's competitive challenge platform. This model encourages developers to present bespoke solutions that address real-world problems, contributing to the rapid development of decentralised AI technologies.

Highlighting the significance of the partnership, Dr. Ben Goertzel, CEO of SingularityNET, said, "The union of SingularityNET's decentralised AGI vision with Bitgrit's unparalleled access to top AI talent comes at a pivotal moment. By seamlessly integrating Bitgrit's extensive network of engineers with our AI marketplace, we are enabling businesses and developers to collaborate in ways that were previously impossible. This will drive forward AI innovation and unlock new frontiers in artificial intelligence."

Kazuya Saginawa, CEO of Bitgrit, emphasised the collaboration's importance, stating, "Bitgrit's partnership with SingularityNET is another bold step toward our shared vision of Artificial General Intelligence. By bringing together our extensive community of AI developers with SNET's decentralised infrastructure, we are creating an ecosystem where AI solutions are more accessible and impactful than ever before."

This partnership is poised to advance the development of SingularityNET's OpenCog Hyperon while fostering a collaborative global AI community. By bringing together SingularityNET's strategic vision and Bitgrit's vast talent pool, the initiative intends to pave the way for significant progress towards achieving beneficial AGI.
