RevisionSuccess & SPU partner to advance AI in Thai education
RevisionSuccess has formalised a Memorandum of Understanding with Sripatum University (SPU) to progress the development and implementation of AI-driven educational technology for students throughout Thailand.
The agreement establishes a collaborative framework aimed at delivering personalised and impactful learning experiences, particularly targeting the next generation of students - Generation Alpha. Both parties emphasised their shared intent to leverage academic rigour and technological advancement to make quality education more accessible across the country.
A shared vision
The signing, attended by leaders from RevisionSuccess and Sripatum University, marks a significant step in the integration of educational technology into mainstream Thai classrooms. RevisionSuccess was represented by its Founder & CEO, Phonlawat Sirajindapirom, Co-Founder & COO, Phuwadit Sutthaporn, Co-Founder & CMO, Chotiwith Chotiheerunyasakaya, and two newly appointed interns. On Sripatum University's side, President Dr. Rutchaneeporn Pookayaporn Phukkamarn, Vice President Dr. Wirat Lertpaitoonpan, Dr. Kriangkrai Satjaharuthai (Dean of the School of Entrepreneurship), and several faculty members were present to formalise the partnership.
RevisionSuccess, established in 2023 by three high school students, has developed a platform that uses artificial intelligence to customise revision materials. The platform aims to address the diverse strengths and weaknesses of individual learners by transforming content from documents and videos into flashcards, quizzes, and exercises.
President Dr. Rutchaneeporn highlighted the university's commitment to fostering youth-led technological initiatives within higher education:
"We don't believe young people must wait until adulthood to innovate. On the contrary, SPU wants to create space for them to start today and support them to grow with quality. We hope this collaboration inspires other Thai youth to take action, knowing that there are universities ready to back them."
National impact
Phonlawat Sirajindapirom discussed the wider implications of the agreement, reiterating the importance of age inclusivity in innovation and societal development:
"We're grateful that Sripatum University recognizes our vision and is giving us the opportunity to take it further. This partnership proves that age is no barrier to creating innovations that can deliver a positive impact to society."
"We're thankful that Sripatum University sees the potential in what we've built and is giving us the space to expand it seriously. We hope this will be the starting point for other young people to see that - regardless of age - if you have the determination and take real action, you can create innovations that change society."
The MOU stipulates that Sripatum University will contribute academic mentorship, resources, and partial financial support to expedite the development and nationwide adoption of the platform. The intent is to create an environment where both students and educators can benefit from data-driven resource allocation and personalised study tools.
Dr. Rutchaneeporn expressed the university's aspiration to serve as an incubator for youth-driven digital transformation in education:
"This collaboration is not merely about supporting a single platform, but reflects SPU's vision to champion innovative ideas from Thai youth across the nation. We are committed to being a 'place of opportunity' that transforms creative thinking into reality."
Technological adaptation
The RevisionSuccess platform responds to the increasing demand for adaptive learning tools tailored to digitally native students. Its AI algorithms streamline lesson preparation for teachers, while providing students with efficient, targeted content designed to improve learning outcomes.
Thailand's education sector is progressively orienting towards hybrid and online learning models. The partnership is expected to develop tools and systems that are adapted for these modes of teaching, in preparation for the new cohorts of digitally literate students.
The formal signing also underlined the partnership's emphasis on youth involvement, with high school student founders and interns participating in the proceedings. This theme of youth empowerment aligns with both organisations' missions.
Next steps
RevisionSuccess and SPU plan to pilot the platform in select academic settings, working alongside faculty and research teams to assess and refine the technology for practical classroom application. Key objectives over the next year include integrating the platform into SPU's teaching systems, expanding subject coverage, and initiating outreach programmes to promote AI literacy and youth innovation.
Co-Founder & COO Phuwadit Sutthaporn commented on the practical focus of the collaboration, stating:
"With SPU's backing, we can test and refine our platform in real classrooms, ensuring it's not just innovative, but also practical and impactful for teachers and students alike."
