Rapid7 appoints Anita Moorhouse as Partner Director
Tue, 1st Aug 2023

In a significant development aimed at boosting its channel partnerships, Rapid7, Inc., a frontrunner in cloud risk and threat detection, today declared the appointment of Anita Moorhouse as Partner Director for the Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ) region. This move comes as part of the company's strategic approach to increase the support of partners in APJ for continued growth and customer success.

Alex Page, Vice President of Global Channel and Emerging Technology Sales at Rapid7, warmly welcomed Moorhouse, "Anita brings a wealth of energy, knowledge, and experience to Rapid7. Her leadership will be instrumental in reinforcing and expanding our partner strategy and operations across the APJ region. She has a proven track record in building high-performing partner ecosystems — at significant scale — and will further enhance Rapid7’s position and presence with our partners.”

Over the last two years, Rapid7's strategy has leaned heavily on channel partners, distributors, and managed security service providers (MSSPs). With Moorhouse being the first APJ partner director to be physically located in the region, it highlights the company’s commitment to its partners.

Moorhouse expressed her excitement about the new role, “I am passionate about the channel and look forward to collaborating with our partners for mutual success as we deliver industry-leading, best in-class technologies and services."

Moorhouse's diverse experience includes roles at Qualtrics, Google Cloud, VMWare, and Microsoft Australia. Her appointment is expected to make a considerable impact on Rapid7's channel partnerships, due to her strong regional relationships and impressive professional background.

Rob Dooley, Vice President, APJ, Rapid7, endorsed Moorhouse's potential value, stating, “Anita will undoubtedly be a valuable addition to the Rapid7 team here in Melbourne and throughout the greater APJ region. We have experienced steady growth over the last few years and expect to see momentum increase in 2023 and beyond.”
