OneTrust opens Singapore office amidst APAC expansion

OneTrust has announced the launch of its new office in Singapore, expanding its presence in the Asia Pacific region to meet the growing demand for data and AI solutions.

The opening of the Singapore office is a significant step in OneTrust's international growth strategy. It reflects the company's commitment to addressing regional demands for tools that enable responsible use of data and AI technologies.

The data privacy landscape in Asia is undergoing rapid changes, with new regulations such as India's Digital Data Protection Act, Indonesia's Personal Data Protection Law, Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act, and Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010. These developments have presented companies with numerous regulatory requirements and challenges.

The new office in Singapore, located in the CapitaSpring tower, is OneTrust's 12th global office. This follows recent expansions with new offices in San Francisco, Chicago, and Amsterdam. Currently, OneTrust employs over 2,200 staff globally, with almost 500 based in the Asia Pacific region, and it anticipates hiring more talent in Singapore throughout the year.
