Nium has partnered with RedotPay to provide off-ramp infrastructure for the fintech's users, giving RedotPay access to Nium's payment network in more than 190 countries.

RedotPay, which says it serves more than nine million users, will use the partnership to expand the markets where customers can convert stablecoin balances into traditional money for spending or transfers. Nium's network supports 100 currencies.

The agreement connects a stablecoin payments provider with a cross-border payments network as digital asset firms seek easier ways for users to move between blockchain-based funds and conventional financial systems. Off-ramping has become a focus for payments companies because it determines how easily customers can use digital assets for everyday transactions.

Nium's network moved more than USD $84 billion over the past year. It operates in more than 190 markets and holds regulatory licences in more than 40 countries.

RedotPay describes itself as a stablecoin-based payments fintech that combines blockchain systems with traditional banking and financial infrastructure. It said the partnership would broaden its off-ramp coverage as it expands into additional markets.

Nium connects to stablecoin rails through partnerships with regulated blockchain infrastructure providers, while payouts move through its own licensed payment network. This structure allows digital asset transactions to convert and pay out through existing financial channels, including bank accounts, wallets, and cards.

For RedotPay, the partnership is intended to make it easier for users to move funds out of stablecoins and into spendable forms of money. The company has focused on consumer payments and transfers, positioning stablecoins as a tool for everyday financial use rather than only for trading or holding crypto assets.

"Stablecoins are becoming a daily payment method, not just a trading asset," said Prajit Nanu, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of Nium. "RedotPay's users move between digital and traditional money constantly. Our battle-tested infrastructure is built for exactly that kind of value movement, across every corridor and currency they need."

Interest in stablecoin payments has grown as fintechs look for cheaper and faster ways to make cross-border transactions. For many providers, the challenge remains linking digital tokens with the local payout systems that users and merchants already rely on.

RedotPay said access to a broad payment network would support its efforts to extend financial access through the compliant use of stablecoin payments. The company has targeted both crypto users and customers seeking alternatives to conventional payment and remittance tools.

The partnership gives RedotPay access to Nium's established payment infrastructure as it expands its stablecoin services across additional markets. It also provides a connection between blockchain-based balances and established financial channels used for everyday payments and transfers.

"We are building an inclusive platform that makes finance easier and more accessible for users around the world," said Michael Gao, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder of RedotPay. "Nium's off-ramp infrastructure will help our users worldwide put their digital assets to work for the everyday things that make life meaningful."
