NEXCOM unveils advanced AI & edge hardware for industry sectors
NEXCOM is presenting a range of computing hardware and solutions to advance edge computing and artificial intelligence at Embedded World North America 2025.
New panel PC for public spaces
The company is showcasing the SPPC 16-10N150 slim touchscreen computer, designed for interactive environments such as digital signage, kiosks, smart retail, and restaurant systems. The device features a 15.6-inch display within a 20mm-thick all-metal chassis, and is powered by an Intel N150 processor. According to NEXCOM, this fanless touchscreen system is designed to be silent, stable, and energy-efficient, with a built-in FHD camera that enables features such as facial recognition and customer engagement analytics.
Edge computing for agriculture
NEXCOM has also introduced the ATC 3561-NA4C accelerated edge AI computer, developed to meet the needs of smart agriculture. Powered by the NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano system on module, the system is capable of delivering up to 67 TOPS (trillions of operations per second) of AI inference performance. It supports a wide range of wired and wireless connectivity options and is targeted at agricultural applications such as autonomous vehicles for planting, weeding, crop care, and harvesting. Additional use cases include deployment in transportation and factory automation environments.
Humanoid robot controller
The MARS400 T10, also on display, is NEXCOM's humanoid robot controller. Built with NVIDIA's Jetson Thor platform, the system combines AI computing, motion, and robot control into a single modular platform, utilising NEXCOM's ESC210 functional safety system. The company states that this combination addresses the latency and space requirements of traditional robot controller architectures. The MARS400 T10 is said to improve the real-time performance of humanoid robots, facilitating more compact designs, refined movement, and greater operational duration.
Additional product lines
Alongside these core products, NEXCOM is also displaying other solutions for industrial AI and edge computing. These include the nDAS 6000 Series, a data acquisition solution designed for remote management and cloud connectivity in sectors such as green energy, energy management, HVAC, water management, and factory automation. The system is compact, lightweight, and supports flexible communications for remote operations.
The AIC AI-X Microservice provides a device for deploying and managing generative AI and large language model workloads at the edge. This system aims to support organisational deployment of language model assistants and knowledge-based responses without requiring extensive infrastructure.
The NDiS B562 is a fanless embedded computer designed for modularity and scalability, supporting Intel Core Series 2 processors and allowing GPU upgrades via a discrete PCIe 4.0 x16 slot. This flexibility positions the NDiS B562 for a wide range of edge AI applications.
Application focus
During this year's event, NEXCOM is emphasising solutions across AI mobility, smart city infrastructure, smart manufacturing, industrial robots, operational technology security, and industrial language models. These sectors represent intended deployment areas for the company's new products and solutions.
