New Hoong Fatt to modernise with Microsoft ERP solution
New Hoong Fatt has signed an agreement with Wild Tech Malaysia for the implementation of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP system across its operations in Malaysia and internationally.
The project is aimed at modernising and integrating NHF's business processes, including its manufacturing, trading, and distribution activities, with expectations that the new platform will enhance capabilities in financial management, supply chain optimisation, manufacturing operations, and business intelligence.
NHF, a manufacturer and distributor of automotive replacement body parts, operates from its headquarters in Klang, Selangor, and maintains branches in Segambut, Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, along with subsidiaries in China and Indonesia. The company exports to over 50 countries and reaches markets through a distribution network comprising more than 1,000 wholesalers and retailers.
The decision to embark on this ERP modernisation forms part of NHF's broader digital transformation initiative that is intended to reinforce its position in the automotive parts market throughout Asia. Mr Chin Jit Sin, Managing Director of NHF, stated, "This ERP modernisation is a crucial component of our digital transformation strategy as we continue to strengthen our position as a leading automotive parts solution provider in Asia."
The partnership with Wild Tech Malaysia follows an extensive evaluation process, with NHF citing Wild Tech's expertise and track record in Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations, as well as the company's understanding of manufacturing business requirements, as decisive factors in its selection. "After an extensive evaluation process, we selected Wild Tech Malaysia for their expertise and track record in Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations and deep understanding of manufacturing business requirements," said Mr Chin Jit Sin.
Matthew Rogers, Head of Microsoft APAC at Wild Tech, commented on the collaboration, "We are honoured to be selected by NHF Group for its significant digital transformation initiative. As a Microsoft partner with extensive experience in ERP implementations, we look forward to delivering a solution that will enhance operational efficiency and support NHF's continued growth and innovation in the automotive parts industry."
The new Dynamics 365 platform will replace NHF's legacy systems with a modern, cloud-based ERP, providing real-time visibility into key operations. This capability is expected to support NHF in responding quickly to market demands, optimising inventory and production management, and improving service to customers across the region and beyond.
The rollout will occur in several phases, beginning with the implementation of core finance, operations, and supply chain management functionality at NHF's headquarters. Subsequent stages will see the system expanded to the company's domestic and overseas branches to ensure consistent business processes throughout different business units and geographies.
Wild Tech Malaysia has emphasised a delivery approach focused not only on the successful deployment of technology but also on enabling clients to maximise value from their investment. Rogers added, "At Wild Tech, we understand that true digital transformation requires more than just implementing technology — it demands a deep understanding of industry requirements and business processes. We are excited to support NHF in building a future-ready enterprise that can adapt, compete, and lead in the fast-changing automotive landscape."
Both organisations have stated the aim to achieve a smooth transition to the new platform to form a basis for NHF's ongoing and future expansion in the automotive sector.
