The company has made a well-rounded line-up of leadership appointments in Asia as it looks to further accelerate the company’s growth momentum and strengthen customer confidence in the region.

Dean Jones has been appointed Managing Director Asia and Chair of Asia Advisory Board, and Carl Hemus as Chief Operating Officer Asia.

Based in Bangkok, Thailand, both Jones and Hemus will further establish TMX’s presence in Asia, building it as an Asian business backed by local industry expertise.

Gerry Power has been appointed Director Asia and UK Head of Country, with Greg O’Shea leading TMX in Malaysia and Singapore as Country Manager.

In addition to the new appointments, TMX has made key executive leadership hires to equip the business with industry-leading expertise.

Dr Arul Aruleswaran has recently joined as Director, Asia – Operation Excellence, and Sam Conroy as Director, Asia – Vietnam Transformation & Growth.

“As a critical manufacturing and logistics hub in the world, we recognise the significance of Asia as a region and its important role in how supply chains function globally – and the pandemic has been a good example in showcasing this,” says Travis Erridge, Global CEO, TMX.

“With the region now predicted to contribute about half of the world's trade growth by 2030, TMX looks to play a crucial role in strengthening the agility and resilience of the region’s supply chains, and we are pleased to have a strong team of regional industry experts leading the way for us in Asia.”

Commenting on his new leadership team in the region, Jones says he looks forward to leading the next era of business and supply chain transformations for customers in the region, especially as the region is now building back from the impacts of the pandemic.

“I am excited to have credible industry leaders, all with strong experience of working globally and in Asia, join a refreshed TMX Asia regional leadership team. Together, we are setting out to accelerate the adoption of digital and supply chain solutions in a diverse region that presents its own unique logistical challenges.
