Netfos partners with Netskope to bring AI security to Taiwan

Yesterday

Netfos and Netskope have announced a partnership to deliver AI-driven security and networking services to organisations in Taiwan.

The collaboration centres around the introduction of the Netskope One platform to Taiwanese customers, with Netfos acting as Netskope's authorised agent within the country. Netskope One is a unified solution integrating security, networking, and analytics, designed to help organisations manage access, protect data, prevent security threats, and support remote working requirements.

Expanding in Taiwan

Netskope recently expanded into the Taiwanese market by establishing a local office and assembling a go-to-market team. This partnership marks a further step in the company's regional growth strategy, aiming to strengthen market presence and address the growing demand for modern information security solutions among Taiwanese enterprises.

The Netskope One platform is designed around zero trust principles and incorporates several technologies, including Secure Web Gateway (SWG), Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB), Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA), Remote Browser Isolation (RBI), Unified Data Security—featuring data security posture management (DSPM)—Firewall-as-a-Service (FWaaS), Digital Experience Management (DEM), and integrated SD-WAN capabilities.

According to Netskope, the solution's AI-driven operations allow for continuous monitoring of IT environments, including user, branch, and cloud activities. The platform is able to identify anomalous behaviour, proactively troubleshoot issues, and automatically respond to degraded network conditions. The company reports that this is intended to maintain high network performance and security standards, whilst supporting flexible business operations.

Netfos to leverage local expertise

Netfos Technology Corporation, founded in 2004, is headquartered in Taipei with additional operational bases in Hsinchu, Taichung, and Kaohsiung. The company provides technical services centred on network information technology and security and has served a broad spectrum of Taiwanese businesses with IT management and cybersecurity solutions.

We are very honored to cooperate with Netskope and become its authorized agent in Taiwan. Through Netskope's innovative architecture and our deep experience in the local market, we will provide enterprises with more complete and flexible information security solutions to help customers balance agility and risk control during the digital transformation process and achieve goals of high efficiency and low-cost operations.

This statement was made by Lin Zhengji, General Manager of Netfos Technology Corporation, in support of the new partnership. Lin emphasised Netfos's commitment to balancing operational agility with robust risk management during ongoing digital transformation efforts within Taiwanese enterprises.

A unified platform for security and performance

Netskope describes its offerings as integrating security and network functionalities that traditionally would require separate solutions. Netskope One converges these into a single platform, potentially streamlining operations for enterprises. It includes features intended to safeguard data wherever it moves, ensure secure connectivity for on-site and remote workers, and support the oversight of application usage throughout an organisation.

Kunal Jha, Regional Director at Netskope, explained the approach the company is taking with its solutions:

With Netskope, organizations no longer need to make trade-offs between advanced security and network performance. We are a proven technology leader in cloud, data, AI, and network security, and deliver modern security and networking, improved outcomes, and significant cost savings for our customers. We are very pleased to partner with Netfos to bring our technology to more organizations in Taiwan via their ecosystem of cyber security specialist resellers and systems integrators.

Jha's remarks reflect an intent to use the Netfos partnership to expand Netskope's reach in Taiwan by leveraging Netfos's network of cybersecurity specialist resellers and systems integrators.

Netskope One's deployment in Taiwan will occur through Netfos's channels, making the platform available to organisations seeking to update or consolidate their cybersecurity and networking infrastructures. Both companies have stated that the partnership is aimed at supporting enterprises as they manage risks and efficiency pressures associated with digital transformation.
