LogicMonitor hires John Grosshans to drive global expansion goals

Tue, 4th Nov 2025

LogicMonitor has appointed John Grosshans as President of Field Operations as the company seeks to accelerate its expansion and unify its go-to-market strategy worldwide.

Grosshans joins LogicMonitor at a period of sustained growth for the company, with annual recurring revenue now exceeding USD $300 million and its platform processing 1.8 trillion metrics daily from more than 700 enterprise customers.

Leadership and structure

In his new role, Grosshans will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Christina Kosmowski. He will be responsible for overseeing all global sales, marketing, customer success, and channel partnerships. The position is designed to consolidate customer-facing functions under a single strategy, aimed at amplifying operational efficiency and enhancing customer engagement as LogicMonitor expands its global footprint.

Christina Kosmowski commented on the appointment:

"LogicMonitor is already setting the standard for AI in observability. John brings the operational discipline and customer focus that will help us widen the gap against competitors. We are winning this market and raising expectations for everyone else."

Grosshans is expected to focus on scaling LogicMonitor's operations and extending its reach, building on the company's current momentum in AI-driven observability for enterprise clients.

Extensive experience

Grosshans brings over twenty years of experience in expanding global organisations across the technology sector. Most recently, he served as Chief Operations Officer at Coveo, where he led international go-to-market efforts for the company's Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform with an AI focus. His previous roles include executive positions at Palo Alto Networks, Amazon Web Services, Oracle, and SAP, where he specialised in broadening market presence and shaping go-to-market strategies for major platforms.

Earlier in his career, Grosshans led ERP on AWS globally at Amazon Web Services and contributed to the growth of the Prisma Cloud business while at Palo Alto Networks. At Oracle, he was the Group Vice President of Energy and CPG, and at SAP, the Global Vice President and General Manager of Financial Services, Cloud.

A graduate of Clarkson University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Distribution, Grosshans has developed a reputation for delivering results and expanding enterprises into new markets.

Focus on AI-driven growth

LogicMonitor positions itself as an AI-first hybrid observability platform, working with clients whose operations span on-premises, cloud, and edge computing environments. The company has experienced accelerated demand for its services at a time when many organisations are assessing how to integrate AI into their operational strategies.

Grosshans addressed his new role by stating:

"LogicMonitor's leadership in AI-driven observability is clear. The technology, the vision, and the results speak for themselves. I am excited to help the team build on that foundation and extend LogicMonitor's advantage globally."

This appointment comes as the company aims to unify its sales, marketing, and customer success operations, seeking to maintain a pace-setting position within the observability sector and continue its expansion into additional markets.

With Grosshans at the helm of field operations, LogicMonitor aims to build on existing partnerships and customer engagements, pursuing further growth and operational improvements in response to rising enterprise interest in AI-powered digital infrastructure solutions.
