Logicalis expands APAC operations with new Malaysia office opening

Logicalis has announced the opening of its new office in Malaysia, which brings together its regional teams—including the integration of Logicalis and iZeno—under one roof for the first time. This office will serve as a central hub for Logicalis’s operations across the Asia Pacific (APAC) region, providing enhanced services to local customers in areas such as security, artificial intelligence (AI), application modernisation, hybrid cloud, networking, and modern work.

The new facility also includes an expanded security operations centre (SOC), a crucial part of Logicalis’s strategy to improve its security offerings across APAC. The SOC will offer advanced threat detection and response capabilities, utilising state-of-the-art technologies and a team of skilled security analysts. According to the company, the SOC will support more than 30 customers across the region.

Chong-Win Lee, CEO of Logicalis APAC, expressed enthusiasm about the investment in Malaysia. "Logicalis’s continued investment in Malaysia reflects its long-term vision for the region. The addition of the Malaysian SOC complements Logicalis’s existing network of SOCs in Singapore, China, Taiwan, and Indonesia. This strategic placement is intended to offer more localised support and quicker response times to security incidents, ensuring customers receive the highest level of protection.

Logicalis's new office, alongside a service delivery centre in Cyberjaya, will accommodate approximately 300 employees. This will offer robust support for clients, enabling them to respond to market demands efficiently. The opening marks a key milestone in Logicalis's strategy to strengthen its operations and capabilities in the APAC region.

A grand opening event was held on 26th July, featuring key executives, customers, and partners. The celebration included a ceremonial ribbon-cutting, a traditional lion dance, and a networking luncheon, providing attendees an opportunity to learn more about Logicalis's enhanced capabilities and future plans for the region.
