LG debuts innovative PF600U & CineBeam S projectors

LG Electronics has announced the introduction of two new projector models at CES 2025, the PF600U and CineBeam S.

The PF600U is a multifunctional device that acts as a projector, built-in speaker with Bluetooth connectivity, and an LED mood lamp. It has been named a CES Innovation Award honouree. This model is designed to enhance living spaces with its adaptability and function, capable of transforming the ambiance of any room tailored to user preferences.

It provides full HD (1,920 x 1,080) resolution with 300 ANSI lumens of brightness and supports OTT streaming through LG webOS. The PF600U features stereo speakers with passive radiators and an LED mood lamp offering nine colours and five brightness levels. The projector's head can tilt up to 110 degrees, accompanied by an auto screen adjustment function for easy adaptability to various viewing experiences.

In comparison, the CineBeam S, designated model PU615U, is LG's smallest-ever 4K Ultra Short Throw (UST) projector, distinguished by its compact and flexible design. It presents 4K Ultra HD resolution (3,840 x 2,160) with 500 ANSI lumens of brightness, covering 154 percent of the DCI-P3 colour space for vivid viewing experiences.

With its ultra-short throw capability, the CineBeam S projects images from 40 to 100 inches, maximising space without compromising quality. It is designed in a minimalistic metallic casing, featuring a built-in stereo sound system with Dolby Atmos, providing sound quality that matches its high-resolution visuals.

The PF600U, inspired by the design of a floor lamp, aims to ensure ergonomic use and seamless spatial integration. It emphasises sound and visual experience with features such as its stereo speaker system and LED mood lamp. The CineBeam S also boasts ease of use, with intuitive features like Auto Screen Adjustment, Wall Colour Adjustment, and Screen Scaling/Shifting that allow for stress-free setup and optimal display alignment across different environments.
