Kissflow has been recognised as a Major Player in the IDC MarketScape: Asia/Pacific Low-Code/No-Code Development Platforms 2024 Vendor Assessment.

Kissflow, based in Singapore, offers a low-code platform that facilitates custom application development, especially focused on middle-office operations. The recognition comes from the IDC MarketScape report, which evaluates the significance of low-code/no-code (LCNC) platforms in the Asia-Pacific region for the year 2024.

The report underscores how LCNC platforms are pivotal in digital innovation, stressing their role in enhancing IT agility. It highlights their popularity due to ease of use, cost-effectiveness, and inclusivity, allowing individuals with no IT background to participate in app development. A comprehensive assessment was conducted on 14 vendors, evaluating them based on capabilities and strategies, to guide technology buyers in making informed choices.

According to the report, Kissflow's strengths lie in its user-friendly interface, which allows non-technical users to design and oversee applications efficiently. The platform's robust integration capabilities ensure smooth communication between various systems and maintain consistent data flow processes across organisations. This combination enables businesses to manage complex workflows and automation while maintaining operational efficiency.

Dinesh Varadharajan, Chief Product Officer at Kissflow, remarked, "We are proud to be named a Major Player in the IDC MarketScape report. The Asia Pacific region has been a key market for Kissflow, where we've witnessed remarkable growth, particularly in Southeast Asia over the past few years. We believe this recognition not only validates our strong presence and position in the region but also affirms our platform's capabilities in meeting the diverse needs of APAC businesses. We remain committed to empowering organisations in their digital transformation journey with our intuitive low-code platform."

Kissflow is also focusing on further enhancing its platform to bridge the semantic gap for business users using artificial intelligence. The company has released its Citizen Development Trends Report 2024, providing insights into how Citizen Development is aiding digital transformation across organisations.

The report, compiled from a survey involving Chief Information Officers (CIOs) of enterprises with more than 5,000 employees, indicates significant progress in the adoption of citizen development. This approach is altering traditional digital transformation strategies by empowering non-IT employees to develop and manage departmental applications using LCNC platforms.

The IDC MarketScape employs a vendor assessment model to offer an overview of technology and service providers' competitive standing within a market. Through a rigorous evaluation methodology, both qualitative and quantitative aspects are examined to depict a vendor's market position. This model allows for a thorough comparison of product and service offerings, capabilities, and strategies, assisting technology buyers in identifying strengths and weaknesses among current and potential suppliers.

Kissflow continues to cater to both low-code and no-code projects, supporting entities to scale business process automation efficiently. Well-known international brands such as Pepsi, McDermott, and Motorola Solutions use the platform. It has been acknowledged by industry analysts such as Gartner, Forrester, and G2. Founded in 2004, Kissflow has been a pioneer within the low-code/no-code sector, continuing to drive digital operations forward.
