IT By Design opens expansive Philippines headquarters in Bonifacio Global City

IT By Design (ITBD), a master managed services provider (MMSP) known for its expertise in business process outsourcing (BPO) talent and training solutions, has officially inaugurated a new landmark – the company's Philippines headquarters in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Metro Manila. This signifies a considerable expansion into Southeast Asia. In response to the industry's keen demand for top-tier talent from budget-conscious markets, the new facility will pave the way for ITBD to create over 250 new roles, reflecting their tremendous growth since 2020, when they hired their first employee in the Philippines.

Sunny Kaila, ITBD founder and CEO, Ceferino S. Rodolfo, trade undersecretary and BOI managing head, and Leslie Vanessa C. Lim, Director of the Office of the Special Assistant to the President for Investment and Economic Affairs (OSAPIEA), were all in attendance to celebrate the ribbon-cutting of the state-of-the-art building.

In his address, Sunny Kaila said, "ITBD's new Philippines operations will help MSPs improve net growth and EBITDA by providing access to a new low-cost talent market." He highlighted the company's journey from starting with a 15-member team, now scaling up to accommodate 250 new positions. He added, "Filipinos possess a high level of communication and technical expertise and strong cultural alignment with North America. The potential talent pool is unlimited. We're also bringing in our cloud, cybersecurity, and AI experts from the US to build the capability of Filipino engineers and make them even more competitive as demands for IT jobs continue to grow."

The implication of this expansion is a significant job creation opportunity for the Philippines, with the new facility actively recruiting for a wide variety of in-demand roles. These include computer engineers, network engineers, system administrators, technology solution architects, software development engineers, business analysts, and business development representatives.

OSAPIEA Chief of Staff Leslie Lim lauded ITBD's endeavours, saying, "Your investment is making a real impact—creating jobs and boosting our industry." She also pledged the government's continued support for initiatives of this nature, recognising that when a business thrives, the talented workforce behind it also flourishes.
