Ingram Micro wins double AWS awards for innovation success

Today

Ingram Micro has been awarded the titles of AWS' Global Distributor Partner of the Year and Innovation Partner of the Year for the LATAM region for the second consecutive year.

This recognition stems from Ingram Micro's contributions to growth and the number of partners enabled, particularly through its BRLink team.

The awards were given as part of AWS' annual recognition of global partners who demonstrate significant expertise in AWS services.

Tim Ament, Senior Vice President and Country Chief Executive of Ingram Micro Australia and New Zealand, commented: "As a Premier AWS Consulting Partner, Ingram Micro is empowering thousands of channel partners worldwide to innovate, grow, and create more value with AWS as part of our commitment to removing complexity and easing engagement."

Ingram Micro has integrated the AWS Marketplace into its AI-powered Xvantage digital experience platform. This development aims to open new markets and simplify go-to-market strategies, sales, and management of solutions for its channel partners.

The platform's integration not only aims to unify the buying experience from the AWS Marketplace but also provides access to advanced technical resources and ongoing sales and professional services support to help establish and expand AWS business operations.

Ament also highlighted the company's dedication to local markets, stating: "Ingram Micro Australia and New Zealand are dedicated to empowering our customers to navigate the complexities of hybrid IT environments."

"Our strategic investments and leadership within the AWS ecosystem locally have been pivotal in supporting our partners."

He added that by enhancing technical resources, Ingram Micro aims to bolster its partners' capabilities in technical delivery and enablement, thus ensuring partners can fully leverage AWS solutions.

BRLink, a leader in the Brazilian cloud services market and part of Ingram Micro, was recognised as AWS Innovation Partner of the Year for the LATAM region. This accolade reflects BRLink's outstanding customer service, from consulting to the migration and management of cloud infrastructure.

Phil Duke, AWS Lead for Ingram Micro Australia and New Zealand, noted the company's strategic approach: "At Ingram Micro Australia and New Zealand, we have deeply engaged with our customers to understand what success looks like for them and have built tailored plans to support their achievements. Our efforts have helped our partners build profitability within their AWS business."

He continued, "We have in region, dedicated resources to help partners become more strategically aligned with AWS. This award underscores that we are not just a transactional distributor, but a strategic partner committed to our customers' long-term success."

The awards process involved nominations reviewed by Canalys, a third-party organisation, with a focus on customer success use cases. Finalists for all awards were the top three ranked AWS Partners in each category, based on performance metrics verified by Canalys.
