FYI, this story is more than a year old

Ahead of CES 2023, Hisense ANZ has announced the rollout of its cutting-edge mini-LED technology across its full ULED range for 2023, with class-leading Mini-LED X technology to star in its flagship models.

A company dealing in consumer electronics, Hisense is committed to delivering its most innovative, feature-packed ULED TV range as the brand celebrates its 10th-anniversary pioneering mini-LED technology.

Mini-LED X technology is set to be the driving force behind Hisense’s most detailed display to date.

Topping Hisense's 2023 ULED range, the 85-inch option will boast 20,000 backlights delivering an impressive 2,500+ nits of brightness with an unmatched 5,000+ dimming zones. This offering is the only TV in Australia to provide this unmissable image detail, clarity, and depth.

Brightness is delivered with precision thanks to Hisense's proprietary Hi-View X Engine. Powered by a 16-bit neural processor, the model's engine can provide an incredibly refined picture by upscaling all content to utilise 65,536 levels of brightness.

Equipped with a new Dynamic X Display, this flagship model's screen can have five times less reflection. In addition, it offers over one billion unique colours to deliver a truly breathtaking picture. This is further enhanced by HDR10+ and Dolby Vision IQ, and also achieves IMAX Enhanced certification.

“We’re incredibly proud of the continued innovation in our ULED range. We set an industry benchmark by incorporating a range of premium technologies, including Mini-LED for contrast, QLED for colour, 144Hz for unparalleled motion and Dolby Vision IQ,” says Gideon Lui, Head of Marketing at Hisense ANZ.

“What better way to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of our ULED range than to offer our customers this impressive Mini-LED X technology for our performance-focused flagship model, and deliver the very best for Australian consumers,” adds Lui.

The experience is set to be aurally enhanced, too, with the introduction of CineStage X Surround, brought to life with built-in 4.1.2 authentic surround sound and Dolby Atmos performance, and equipped with up-firing and built-in side speakers. Boasting the ability to accurately reflect the movement on the screen with the action you hear, customers can expect a genuinely showstopping viewing experience.

While Mini-LED X technology puts Hisense's new flagship model on a pedestal within the Australian TV market, the more comprehensive Hisense ULED range for 2023 continues to offer a compelling proposition, with Mini-LED tech available at attainable price points.

Available in a range of models that stretch from 55- to 98-inch, movie buffs and TV lovers will benefit from IMAX Enhanced certification, Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+ adaptive viewing. At the same time, the AI Sports Mode will impress sports fanatics across the country.

Hisense's full 2023 ULED range will cater to the most avid gamers too, delivering an impressive 144Hz, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), AMD FreeSync Premium, Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and HDMI 2.1, allowing gamers to experience all the action without delay or judder.

“In our mission to offer ground-breaking and attainable products to our customers, we have harnessed leading technology, innovation, and premium quality product to ensure an exceptional viewing and audio experience for our customers,” notes Lui.

Underpinning the entire 2023 range, consumers will experience the latest version of Hisense's seamless proprietary operating system, VIDAA U7.

Delivering a personalised stream of content to suit the user, customers can enjoy Hisense's existing bench strength of content, alongside new inclusions such as Binge, Apple TV+, Britbox, and 9Now, with more to come in 2023. The addition of AirPlay 2 now enables both Apple and Android users to stream content straight from their devices.
