FYI, this story is more than a year old

Google has announced the second round of participants in the Women Founders Academy 2021, which brings together 10 founders from Asia Pacific countries together to expand their skills and take their business leadership skills to the next level.

The program's second run, which includes founders from India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, and Singapore, will run for 12 weeks and all participants will graduate in November.  The founders will take part in workshops, connect with a community of Google advisors, venture capitalists and business executives and receive mentoring from experts.

Ketty Lie, one of the founders in the latest cohort, says she excited to meet others in the program and to share experiences.

"Sometimes it's lonely being a woman founder in the tech startup world," Lie explains.

"Finding a community of like-minded women who are building tech-based businesses in Asia hasn't been easy and this program provides a unique platform that I wouldn't otherwise have.
